I recently stayed at a special property in Tuscany, staying in a sort of castle complex that dates back to at least the 1290's. The grounds were incredible with a terraced garden and stunning views of a Tuscan valley. The property's location in the village was also a highlight, allowing us to explore the charming and authentic village of Montisi. The owner, Claudia, was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, recommending special restaurants and giving us a tour of the oldest parts of the castle. The pool was clean and nice, and our room was spacious and comfortable. it was a privilege to learn about the history of the property and experience its beauty.
