During our visit, we found the Westgate Inn to be conveniently located just off the highway and within walking distance to downtown. The room we stayed in, room 108, was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The included breakfast offered a variety of options. The owners were friendly and helpful, providing us with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The newly renovated rooms had modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, plenty of outlets, and good WiFi signal.

We did experience some noise from the bathroom fans and fans in surrounding rooms, which could be a bit bothersome at times.

our overnight stop exceeded expectations! westgate inn was a refreshing change from previous stays. friendly family-run vibe, impeccable cleanliness, easy in & out, and even a grab-and-go breakfast. loved the seasonal artwork on windows. bonus: they had AMC so we could watch the walking dead premiere! the blowing train horns added charm too.

We stayed at Westgate Inn for a weekend getaway and absolutely loved it. The location was excellent, close to Riding Mountain National Park, and the newly renovated room was spotless and stylish. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a friendly cat. The amenities were great, with a spacious desk, microwave, and refrigerator in the room, as well as a comfortable sofa. The comfortable bed and reading lamps made it perfect for winding down after a long day exploring. The limited continental breakfast was sufficient, with a good selection of fruit, muffins, bagels, and drinks. The free wi-fi was excellent too. We can't wait to book with them again!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were incredibly clean with new furniture, great beds, and even a microwave and small fridge in the basic room. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a big screen TV and free WiFi. The location was excellent, making it easy for us to explore the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering us a bedtime snack for the kids and providing excellent service throughout our stay.

my previous stay in portage la prairie was good, but this time at westgate inn was even better. the modernized rooms were nicely updated and the owners were wonderfully helpful and accommodating. the continental breakfast had a great selection and the free wi-fi was excellent. i will definitely book with them again!
