I stayed at this amazing guest house for a few days while exploring the East Coast trail. The view and the warm welcome from the wild birds were such a delight. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a long hike. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Amanda and Martin, the hosts, were exceptional. Their attention to detail, privacy, and willingness to assist with transportation made my stay even more enjoyable. The Whale House suite overlooking the ocean was stunning, clean, and cozy. The provided yoga mat and roller were a nice touch for soothing my muscles. The hiking in the area was outstanding. a fantastic place to stay!

Nothing to fault

We had a fabulous stay at the Whale House. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to a nearby restaurant and the whale tour wharf. The gardens at the guest house were absolutely stunning and the BBQ setup was a great addition. Moreover, the room we stayed in, the Humpback, was private, cozy. It had everything we needed and the hot tub was a treat after a long day of hiking. We also enjoyed dinner at Fork, which was just down the road. it was a perfect day surrounded by nature and a lovely oasis by the sea.

The only drawback we experienced was that the room was a bit small with only one window, leading to poor cross ventilation and a stuffy feeling. Additionally, the pictures in the advertisement made the room appear larger than it actually was.

The location was perfect, right on the East Coast Trail, making it so convenient for our hiking adventures. The hosts were incredibly helpful, even giving us some great tips for our hikes and offering free transportation. The room, the Humpback, was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed. Clean rooms with well-equipped kitchen facilities. Friendly and attentive staff. Instant porridge, cookies, tea, and coffee provided. Outdoor BBQ available. Great water pressure in the new shower stall.

I had an exceptional stay at the Whale House Guest House. The room and the view were absolutely amazing! I was blown away by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The owners really went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From the homemade salsa and chips upon arrival to the s'mores kits and complimentary snacks, they thought of every little detail. The room had all the amenities I needed and more. I truly felt at home. The owners were also incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed and even offering to find anything that wasn't already provided. I couldn't have asked for better service. I am already planning my next visit to the Whale House Guest House and it will definitely be a regular spot for me. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly exceptional experience.

One minor drawback was that the room was a bit noisy at night due to a heavy-footed person staying in the room above. It lasted until late in the night, which was a bit inconvenient.

The location provided easy access to nearby trails and stores, perfect for our Christmas escape. We enjoyed the outdoor amenities, especially the well-maintained BBQ areas and gardens, which allowed us to have a wonderful outdoor cooking experience. the strong wifi connection and comfortable beds provided a cozy and relaxing stay for our holiday break.

The cramped and overpriced accommodation failed to meet our expectations. the room was claustrophobic with murky ventilation and no view, which made it quite stuffy.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with easy access to exploring the coast and nearby nature trails. I especially loved the nature feel of the hotel's common space outside, with a slight view of the bay through the trees. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a well-equipped kitchen in my room that had everything I needed, including a small toaster oven and a microwave. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and the shower stall in my room was new and had great water pressure. The hotel staff, particularly Amanda and Martin, were super hosts. They paid attention to details, provided quality shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap, and even offered to take me or pick me up from my hike. The transportation options were convenient, and having a car allowed me to easily access groceries and dining options in the area. this hotel provided a perfect base for my coastal exploration.

The Whale House Guest House Mobile is a hidden gem located right on the East Coast Trail. The value for money is excellent - you get stunning rooms overlooking the ocean. The attention to detail is impressive, with cozy and well-stocked rooms. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service, with great hints for hiking and even picking guests up for free.

The room and the view were amazing! Very clean and anything you could think of was provided plus more. They had everything from homemade salsa and chips for when we arrived to s'mores kits, wine, soft drinks, snacks, cereal, milk all complimentary. They made sure we had everything we needed and if it wasn't there they offered to find it for us. I highly recommend this hotel.

They even provided a bug lamp and essential oils to help with the annoying black flies. The bed was cozy, and I loved the pretty lights outside and sitting areas. Amanda and Martin, the hosts, were fantastic and paid attention to every detail. They even offered to take me on a hike or pick me up afterwards. The Whale House suite with its ocean view was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. They provided a yoga mat and roller, which was a nice touch. The hiking in the area was superb, making it a great place to stay.
