Some guests have reported noise issues during the night due to the open courtyard where the bedroom windows are located.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The value for money is outstanding, especially considering it's right on the beach in the center of Santa Maria. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides excellent service. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with attention to detail. My favorite part was the ocean view from the terrace in my bedroom - breathtaking!

The apartment we stayed in was modern and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a clean bathroom. What we liked the most about our stay was the location - we were just a few steps away from a beautiful beach, with a beach bar and several cafes nearby. the area around the apartment was lively, with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.

There was construction going on nearby which made it difficult to relax on the balcony during the day when the noise was at its loudest. while we enjoyed our time at the apartment, the construction noise and water issues were a bit of a downside to an otherwise enjoyable holiday.

The location of the apartment was absolutely amazing, right on the beach with easy access to the sand and water. The interiors of the apartment were beautifully decorated, with European-style furnishings that added a touch of elegance. The staff at Villa Ao Mar were incredibly welcoming and always available to help with any questions or requests. I had a relaxing vacation with the convenience of nearby bars and restaurants. I definitely recommend staying at this apartment for a wonderful beach getaway. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent location, right next to the beach. Great customer service from Baracuda restaurant. Clean and well-maintained rooms. Thoughtful gesture with a complimentary bottle of water. Friendly and efficient staff. Christmas party for guests. Perfect central location with a roof terrace. Beautiful property with a lovely garden.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel right on the beach. The location couldn't have been better, with many restaurants and bars nearby. We especially loved the rooftop bar at Baracuda, where we enjoyed amazing views while sipping delicious cocktails. The rooms were well-equipped and the bathrooms were clean and functional. The staff provided excellent customer service and were always available to help with any requests. we had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel for a beachfront getaway.

The only drawback was the limited wifi access, which required an extra charge and could only be used on two devices.

We had a great business visit in Sal and Valter, the Italian director, was very helpful and welcoming. Our apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a lovely beachfront location. The nearby bars and restaurants were convenient and the beach was beautiful for swimming and snorkelling. Security was good and our stay was wonderful.
