My recent stay at Hotel Melillanca was truly enjoyable. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the beautiful river promenade and plenty of local businesses and restaurants. The hotel itself had a charming, older-styled ambiance that added to the overall experience. While the wifi didn't work during my stay, it wasn't a major issue for me as I was mainly traveling within the country. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome, and they even gave me a free Pisco Sour at the restaurant to entice me to try their food. I had a comfortable room and a pleasant stay at Hotel Melillanca. I would definitely recommend it to others visiting Valdivia.

During my New Year's stay, the hotel offered competitive rates compared to other places in the area, and the continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. the hotel's location was convenient and within walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops. the staff was friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.

Although the hotel provided me with great service, the maintenance of the room left something to be desired. There were a few minor issues that needed attention, but it seemed as if they were not given much priority.
