The hotel had a great location, with views of the river and a nearby footpath. It was also conveniently situated near a large shopping mall, making it easy to find shopping and dining options.

The hotel staff's treatment was dreadful. They made me feel like a potential thief by insisting on a cash payment before I could retrieve my own laundry.

The venue offers exclusive amenities such as a spa centre and sauna, and the indoor swimming pool has a jacuzzi. the sun terrace and garden area have barbeque grills, perfect for a leisure day. the restaurant serves delicious buffet breakfast and special diet menus, and In-room breakfast and packed lunches are also available. the room advantages are exclusive, and the location advantages are perfect for transportation and sightseeing. the staff's service is exceptional.

Although everything was great, the air conditioning seemed to be centrally controlled and the temperature was a bit low, making it feel cold in some areas of the hotel. the minor issue was resolved by the staff's quick response and provided an extra blanket.

The location was perfect, close to the exhibition center and with easy access to transportation. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was outstanding, with attentive chefs who remembered our preferences. The facilities, including the JBL speaker and Bose sound system, added a homey touch to the room. The fast internet connection was a bonus, and the huge bathroom with separate shower and bath tub was a delight.

Lastly, the delicious complimentary breakfast buffet provided a variety of international cuisine, making for a great start to each day.

Our stay was marred by the high prices of room service and in-room facilities. the crowded and often noisy lobby made it difficult to relax and enjoy the hotel atmosphere.

We had a great stay at Intercontinental Shanghai Expo and were impressed by the comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. Although the hotel is located near the expo area, it was not a problem for us as we didn't mind a short 15-minute walk to the metro station. we highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Shanghai.
