The location couldn't have been better. Right across from People's Square, it was easy to access the subway and explore the city. The hotel's central location also made it convenient to walk to the nearby shopping street Nanjing Rd and even to the Bund. The proximity to the subway lines made it a breeze to travel to the airport or exhibition center.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location of this place is absolutely unbeatable, with everything I needed just a stone's throw away. I could easily explore nearby attractions, enjoy shopping on NNking E Road, and even grab a coffee at Starbucks right there. The staff here are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a beautiful bathroom complete with a bath and shower. I especially loved the heated toilet, which added a touch of luxury to my stay. The overall comfort and quality of the services provided here were truly impressive.

We had a fantastic stay at a centrally located hotel with a rich historical background. Situated in a landmark building dating back to the 1930s, the hotel offered a truly unique experience. The spacious rooms were well-appointed, featuring modern amenities like a luxurious bathroom with a bath and shower. The friendly staff, albeit with limited English skills, went out of their way to assist us. The hotel's prime location, just opposite the train station and close to the People's Square metro station, made it convenient for exploring the city. With a variety of nearby attractions, we were able to easily navigate our way around. The breakfast included a selection of international and local dishes, providing a delightful start to our day.

It was a bit challenging to communicate in English, so be prepared for possible language barriers.

Despite a few drawbacks, like the lack of Wi-Fi and old windows, we appreciated the unique experience and friendly service. we highly recommend this hotel for history enthusiasts and those seeking a convenient location.

One more advantage that I enjoyed was the friendly and helpful staff, who were always ready to assist with any queries or requests.

Worst aspects of my experience were the high price for the facilities provided. I believe the hotel should be modernized to include walk-in showers and larger beds.
