We had the best stay in this city! The hotel is fab in the Hutongs, with easy access from a lot of shops and restaurants. The cleanliness was top-notch and the hotel facilities were great, including a cozy lobby for guests to read books and magazines offered by the hotel. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a variety of Chinese and American/European food options. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay extra-special.

Lovely boutique hotel in the Hutongs of Beijing. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and good water pressure in the shower. Close to the metro station and Houhai Lakes. Shadow puppetry performance by Master Ma Zhong Bo is a must-see. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet with both Western and Chinese options. Excellent location for experiencing life in old Beijing.

We felt like we were staying in an Asian art museum in the midst of an old and interesting part of the city center. the room was spacious and comfortable, with a magnificent bathroom. the staff members, particularly Felix at the front desk, were outstanding in their patience and helpfulness. We enjoyed the dinners and breakfast buffet, and the shadow puppet show was a major bonus. Craft and cooking classes were also available, adding to the overall experience. We would definitely return on another trip!
