The staff provided excellent service and treated us like royalty. the hotel's design was tasteful and comfortable, and the beds were super comfortable. the breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had, with a great selection of food. I also appreciated the 10am check-in and 4pm check-out, which allowed us to make the most of our stay. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect for sightseeing, with many attractions nearby.

There were a few aspects that were not as impressive. the gym was uncomfortably cold, with the doors to the outside left open even though the temperature was low.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel during my visit to Xian. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the East Gate of the old town wall. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the newly refurbished rooms were beautifully decorated and had comfortable beds. The breakfast spread was absolutely fantastic, with a wide variety of deliciously cooked dishes. The staff provided exceptional service, particularly Danny the concierge and Sam, who went above and beyond to assist with getting train tickets and making our stay enjoyable. The cleanliness of the hotel was also noteworthy, and I appreciated being able to open the windows in my room.

Not one thing.

The hotel offered excellent service and the staff were very welcoming. the room was comfortable and the service was top-notch. We also enjoyed the tasty cookies that were provided in the evening. Additionally, the hotel had a beautiful exterior and the location was convenient for our sightseeing tour.

One downside was that some of the staff had difficulty speaking English, which made communication a bit challenging at times. Another issue was that the shower area in the bathroom could have been cleaner.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sofitel Legend in Xi'an for a holiday in China. The hotel itself is stunning, with a beautiful and luxurious atmosphere. The historical aspects of the hotel really added to its charm. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the drum and bell towers. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious and well-appointed, with a lovely bathtub. The breakfast was delicious, with a nice combination of a la carte options and buffet. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly Danny and Sam, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They assisted us with train tickets and even helped us navigate language barriers during our onward journey. the service at the Sofitel Legend was exceptional, making our stay truly memorable.

I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Just like being a guest in a castle! the hotel staff were courteous and helpful, exceeding my expectations. the furnishings in the bedroom were delightful. the breakfast and dinner experiences were pleasant. the 2-hour Happy Hour offered delicious hors d'oeuvres. the availability of newspapers in the bar was a nice touch.

The parking situation was unclear as I did not have a vehicle. Additionally, the canapés were mediocre, not living up to the standard set by the bar staff.

Magnificent 1950s building with stylish luxury restoration. Excellent English spoken by cheerful staff. Lovely artworks and gardens throughout. Complimentary minibar for first-time guests. Amazing breakfast for Chinese standards.
