Located just off the main plaza, Balcones Del Ayer is a perfect base for exploring the town. It is close to everything, making it convenient to visit all the attractions. Despite its central location, the hotel remains surprisingly quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with amenities such as a safe place for bicycles. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The breakfast is delicious, featuring traditional Colombian dishes like arepa and caldo de costilla. The hotel also offers a cheap laundry service and a nice balcony view.

If I had to nitpick, some of the windows could benefit from mosquito nets to allow guests to enjoy fresh air at night.

I had a wonderful stay at a lovely place in Salento. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main square and the Willy jeeps that take you to Cocora valley. The hosts were amazing, waking up early to make pancakes for us even on our checkout day. The room had a beautiful view and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is superbly located just off the main Plaza in a bustling town. You're close to all the shops, restaurants, and attractions, but still enjoy a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. From the hotel, you can easily take taxis to explore the surrounding countryside or simply walk around and enjoy the stunning views of the lush palms. The staff here are very helpful and the service is top-notch. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with lovely smelling fresh linen and open views to the south side of town. And let's not forget about breakfast - it's absolutely delicious!
