The layout of the room was odd, with the toilet visible from the entrance and the shower not having proper privacy.

I gotta say, we really got our money's worth at Senda Casa Tayrona. The room was top-notch, bed was like sleeping on a cloud. And the location? Holy moly, it's like something out of a dream. Right where the river kisses the sea, couldn't ask for better. The staff treated us like royalty, always one step ahead. They even whipped up a special mosquito bite remedy for me and went out of their way to get my husband a lobster. Food? Absolutely divine. I could have swung on that hammock all day, didn't want to leave for the Tayrona hike.

The breakfast menu could use a little more variety, but honestly, it's such a minor thing compared to how amazing everything else was.

During my Easter stay, I enjoyed the complementary drinks and snacks that were brought to my room upon arrival. the breakfast included in the room price offered made-to-order hot foods and a variety of other items. the hotel's location provided easy access to an isolated beach and other attractions, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The common areas lacked decoration and felt empty, and there weren't many plants around. while the food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, the entrees were a bit pricey.

The views are breathtaking, making it a great place for a couple of days next to Tayrona Park. The rooms and grounds are beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were friendly and responded to all of our needs in a timely manner. The amenities provided enhanced our comfort and quality of stay, from the outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi to the delicious meals served in the restaurant. And the best part? It wasn't expensive compared to other resorts in Colombia.

We had a delightful surprise upon arrival at Senda Casa Tayrona. A plate of hummus and pita bread, along with refreshing drinks, was brought to our room. We enjoyed this treat on our deck, watching surfers in the ocean. The beds were comfortable, the air-conditioning and hot water worked well, and Laura, who checked us in, was friendly and spoke great English. The breakfast included in the room price was fantastic, with made-to-order hot foods like eggs and pancakes, as well as a variety of ready-to-go options like fruit, bread, and cheese. The restaurant also served delicious lunch and dinner entrees. We loved swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hammock, and taking walks on the beach.
