We had an amazing stay at this hotel with its perfect beachfront location right in the center of Palomino. The staff provided exceptional hospitality, making us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with clean and comfortable rooms that had a beautiful beachy design. The breakfast was delicious, and we loved having happy hour at the hotel bar at 5 PM. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located towards the quieter end of the beach, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

This small hotel right on the beach is perfect for a relaxed getaway. The property is well maintained and the staff is incredibly friendly. The beach bar adds a great Caribbean vibe. The private lounge area with chairs is ideal for enjoying the beach. The breakfast, especially the pancakes and granola, is amazing. The food at the restaurant is excellent, especially the coconut rice. The staff is helpful and accommodating, even offering free luggage storage while we explored Tayrona. The comfortable rooms, equipped with fans, have a great ocean breeze.

As young families, we loved the friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms with fans, and the refreshing ocean breeze. The restaurant served copious breakfasts and good dinners, and we especially enjoyed the romantic dinner table on the beach. The beach stroll to the river mouth led us to a beach shack with cold beers and fresh fish cooked by mama.

I had an amazing time at Makao. The boutique hotel is located right on the beach, providing stunning ocean views. The staff were incredibly friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed relaxing on the beach lounge chairs and listening to the sound of the waves. The food was also delicious. it was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to return.

During our stay at Makao Beach, we were pleasantly surprised by the impeccable hospitality of the owner, Leon. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience and even helped us plan our onward travel route. The location of the hotel is simply amazing, with stunning views of the beach and easy access to the main strip of Palomino. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We also enjoyed the delicious food at the hotel, especially the mouthwatering Ceviche and fresh pesto pasta with chicken. The staff were kind and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. we had a fantastic time at Makao Beach and highly recommend it for a memorable beach getaway.

Although the room was a bit smaller and darker than we expected, it didn't detract from our overall experience. Additionally, we found the prices to be a bit on the higher side for a single person.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, as it is right by the beach. We loved being able to step out of our room and have direct access to the beautiful Caribbean sea. Additionally, there is an ATM and a taxi service conveniently located close to the hotel, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding area.

The hotel was still under construction during our stay, which caused some noise during the day. However, this did not significantly impact our overall experience.
