Peaceful at night, relaxing beach sounds, wake up to bird species, excellent service, breathtaking sunsets. Comfortable rooms, amazing views, sea access, pretty pool, great drinks and menu. Stunning location at river and ocean junction with beautiful natural surroundings and wildlife. Delicious food, attentive staff, and clean, well-maintained property. Enjoyable jump-off point for park and day adventures. We'll definitely return for the beautiful and magical experience. Private pool worth extra cost for suite. Love it!

There was nothing I didn't like.

I had such a peaceful stay at this hotel, it was impossible not to relax. The sound of the beach and the variety of bird species in the morning was amazing. The staff provided excellent service and the chef, Don Luis, cooked the most incredible food. The location was perfect, with a private beach connected to the river and breathtaking sunsets. The views from the rooms were to die for.

The eco-lodge was peaceful and perfect for connecting with nature. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Our room had a comfortable bed and a superb view. We also enjoyed easy access to the nearby Parque Tayrona. it was a magical experience and we cannot wait to return.

Wow! The views from Senda Maloka Barlovento were absolutely breathtaking. We had a splendid time enjoying the mesmerizing sights of the river flowing into the sea from the comfort of our bed and the communal space with hammocks and deck chairs. The atmosphere was vibrant, and we loved meeting and dining with people from all over the world. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and although the cold water shower took some getting used to, it was worth it for everything else about our stay. We even spotted alligators in the river while sipping on delicious cocktails. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and unforgettable experience.

Our stay at Senda Maloka Barlovento was simply amazing. We were lucky to be upgraded to the suite in the Cabaña and slept almost on top of the Caribbean - a unique experience! The communal meals were delicious and the Sierra Bar had great cocktails and a salsa soundtrack. The owners and staff were welcoming and helpful, ensuring our happiness throughout our stay. The massages on site were fantastic. The location offered breathtaking views of the river and ocean. it's an unforgettable destination.

Staying here was a dream come true - the view from the terrace was breathtaking and I could hear the sound of crashing waves every night. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this place’s service and housekeeping. And on arrival, I was offered a refreshing welcome drink which really set the tone for my stay. The staff were always ready to help me find relaxation instantly, offering tours and tickets assistance, while the dining restaurant made me delicious dinners with special diet menus to cater to my dietary requirements.

I recently stayed at Senda Maloka Barlovento for a few days and had an amazing time. The hotel's location is perfect, just a short bus ride away from Tayrona's Zaino entrance. The hotel is situated next to a charming little beach and Playa Los Angeles is just a 5-minute walk away. The main building offers breathtaking views of the river and sea. The food at the hotel is fresh and tasty, and some of our best dinners were enjoyed there. The staff are super friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The communal space with hammocks and deck chairs is perfect for relaxation, and the ever-changing views of the river spilling into the sea are simply stunning. it was a magical place to stay.

One of the best parts was having a private beach connected to the river, so we could enjoy both at the same time. Plus, the hotel was conveniently close to Parque Tayrona, just a short drive away.
