We had a great time at this hostel. The rooftop bar was a fantastic place to meet fellow travelers and enjoy the view. We loved the unique bed with its own curtain for privacy, and having a shared bathroom inside the room was very convenient. The architecture of the place was beautiful and we especially enjoyed the top roof terrace. It was also practical to have the option of classes on the rooftop for entertainment. The staff, especially Angie and Mauricio at the reception, were friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel was also very good.

Wonderful breakfast and well taken care of pot plants. Nice chairs and enough place to relax, socialize, and read. The toilets were super clean.

People at the front desk were a bit rude and took a lot of time to assist and check me in and out. I had a very bad experience with the tour agency affiliated with the hotel, as they didn't show up for a tour I booked and the hotel staff was not interested in resolving the issue.

The decor is very cool and trendy. Great central location in Santa Marta. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and each dorm has a private bathroom. Each bed has its own reading light and two plugs. Tasty and substantial breakfast offered for a reasonable price. Rooftop bar with great cocktails and happy hour.

I had a fantastic stay at Masaya in Santa Marta. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to bars, restaurants, and taxis. The building itself is beautiful, and the two swimming pools are a great addition. The rooftop restaurant/bar has a great atmosphere and delicious drinks. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even storing my luggage for a few days without extra charge. Each room has its own bathroom, and the large beds are equipped with curtains, plugs, and space for your belongings. a wonderful experience.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The swimming pools were the best way to unwind after a long day, and the happy hour was a great bonus. The hostel is conveniently located near nice restaurants and the main street for catching buses to explore the city. Plus, the clean kitchen and facilities were a big plus for me.

I did feel that the 6-bed room was a bit cramped, especially when all the beds were occupied. It would have been more comfortable to choose a room with more beds for a more spacious experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Masaya. The comfortable rooms were spacious and quiet, providing a peaceful retreat. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the area. We loved spending time at the swimming pool, a great spot to relax. And having air conditioning was a wonderful bonus.

The private room was spacious and had a good working AC. The pools at the hotel were amazing, especially the one downstairs with some shade. The small activities each night were a great way to meet people. The breakfast offered good value and had lots of options to choose from. The hotel was well located for day trips and close to restaurants, bars, and a supermarket.

It would have been nice if there were hooks on the walls in the dorms and privates to dry towels and swimsuits. The location was not the best for visiting Santa Marta for an extended period of time.

The rooftop terrace and two pools were a great addition to the hotel, providing a nice place to relax and enjoy the music. The location of the hotel was also very convenient, with many tourist spots within walking distance. the staff were friendly and helpful, which made for a pleasant stay.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms left much to be desired. They were not checked and cleaned regularly, resulting in full bins and dirty toilets.

I had an incredible stay at this modern, clean, and comfortable accommodation. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The highlight was definitely the two pools, including one in the shade that was perfect for swimming during the hot days. The location was super central and convenient for exploring the area. The rooftop terrace was amazing with great views, live music, and a bartender named Mark who made delicious cocktails and created a fun atmosphere. The reception staff, Gabi and Yani, were incredibly helpful and made everything simple for me. it was an awesome and affordable place to stay, and if I ever return to SM, I would definitely choose Masaya again.

I recently stayed at Masaya in Santa Marta for a week and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and spacious, with high ceilings that kept the fan and AC wind from being disruptive. The hostel itself was quiet during the day, allowing for comfortable sleep, and the rooftop bar was not overly loud. The location was great, just a few blocks away from the Museo de Oro and the ocean. I also appreciated the different nightly activities and the helpful travel team on site. The beds were comfortable and equipped with outlets, shelves, and sturdy privacy curtains. The two pools were a great addition, and the breakfast was delicious. I felt safe and enjoyed my time at Masaya.

I would recommend this hotel.
