The fact that I could see night monkeys in the wild was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. the architecture of the bungalows was truly remarkable, blending seamlessly with the surrounding nature. The outdoor bathrooms and showers were a unique touch that added to the overall charm and allure of the place. The family running the lodge were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home.

The hotel is committed to promoting environmental consciousness and working with local indigenous communities, which is inspiring. The breakfast was delicious and all the food was vegetarian/vegan. The composting toilets were surprisingly clean and had a beautiful forest view. The on-site trail and yoga sessions added to the overall tranquility. The location, just a short walk or moto taxi ride from town, was convenient. I am so grateful for my experience at Sol de Minca and can't wait to return!

While not right in town, the peacefulness and beautiful nature surroundings made it worth the short walk or taxi ride.
