The views from this eco lodge were absolutely breathtaking, with stunning sunsets and sunrises that left me in awe. the fact that I could see night monkeys in the wild was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. the architecture of the bungalows was truly remarkable, blending seamlessly with the surrounding nature. the outdoor bathrooms and showers were a unique touch that added to the overall charm and allure of the place. the family running the lodge were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home.

Honestly, there was nothing I disliked about this place. It exceeded all my expectations and I only wish I could have stayed longer.

I recently stayed at Sol de Minca Eco Lodge for a few days and it was an incredible experience. The family and team put so much love and dedication into this place, and it really shows. The design of the buildings, made from wood and clay, is stunning. The Deluxe Twin room with Sea View was perfect, complete with a balcony and hammocks. The hotel is committed to promoting environmental consciousness and working with local indigenous communities, which is inspiring. The breakfast was delicious and all the food was vegetarian/vegan. The composting toilets were surprisingly clean and had a beautiful forest view. The on-site trail and yoga sessions added to the overall tranquility. The location, just a short walk or moto taxi ride from town, was convenient. I am so grateful for my experience at Sol de Minca and can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful time during our romantic escape. the location was perfect, nestled in nature but still close enough to the village for convenience. the breakfast served was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed the peaceful ambiance and being surrounded by the sounds of nature.

The spotty wifi connection, which was not available everywhere on the property. getting to the village required a bit of a challenging uphill walk, making it easy to get lost for those unfamiliar with the area.

The staff genuinely cared about our experience and gave great suggestions for exploring the area. The owners' dedication to sustainable tourism truly shines through. The open cabins and nature-focused design were a breath of fresh air. The lack of hot water didn't bother us, as everything else was perfect. And, oh, the food! Every meal was fresh and delicious. While not right in town, the peacefulness and beautiful nature surroundings made it worth the short walk or taxi ride.
