Many rooms are located up a steep hill, making access tiring!!! The toilet in my room made loud noises and the bathroom lacked air conditioning, adding to discomfort!!! Important information about WiFi access and breakfast hours was not provided during check-in, which is frustrating!!!

Wildlife sightings were unforgettable during evening walks.

the decor is so very 'retro,' it feels more like a time capsule than a lodge, how charming, right? and can I mention the air conditioning which was not only luod but had a bright red light that was quite distracting? I expected at least a special welcome gift for my troubles but I was evidently mistaken. I'm shocked, truly, almost left a good review.

The room was heaps spacious but felt a bit old school, eh? Great wildlife in the gardens though, that was sweet as!

Our stay was surrounded by stunning gardens filled with wildlife, providing a serene atmosphere. The restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly, making our meals enjoyable. However, be prepared for challenging room access and be sure to ask for WiFi details upon check-in to avoid missing breakfast!

This place is a birdwatcher’s dream! The little hikes on the grounds were so fun, and I loved the sounds of frogs at night. Breakfast was solid with a nice buffet, but the restaurant could use some improvement with the food quality. My room was comfy, though the bathroom was pretty small.

Surrounded by nature, the lodge offers lovely trails to explore wildlife and a relaxing atmosphere. While the food was enjoyable and staff were welcoming, the dated bathroom and occasional insect visitors reminded me of the hotel's rustic charm. A nice experience overall.

This place was just a strong match for a brief stop-in in Sarapiqui with the best value for money ratio. The AC worked great, keeping the room cool after a hot day outside. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner since those aren’t provided.

Spent one afternoon at the pool where we swam and soaked up the sun. While relaxing, a sweet sloth peeked at us from her tree, and it was unforgettable! ! The staff knew my name by day two, and they always had a friendly smile! It felt personal, like they really cared.

It was a bit pricey, but considering the experience, I’d say it was still worth it.
