We really got our money's worth at Ara Ambigua Lodge. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we loved the private and remote location. The staff treated us with great kindness and helped us with all our needs.

For breakfast, it would be great if they could label the fruit juices so we know what we're drinking.

I had a great time at a lodge in Sarapiqui. the hotel was beautiful and had plenty of amenities. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed seeing the wildlife, like camens by the pond, frogs at night, and birds at the feeding station. the location was also nice and quiet, and it was a short distance from La Selva Research Station. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff is friendly and helpful, arranging unforgettable off-site adventures nearby. The basic rooms have extremely comfortable beds, and the expansive parc boasts two pools, two lakes, and a restaurant and bar. The opportunity to spot birds and frogs is fantastic, especially during the night tour. The employees are incredibly kind, and there's a designated area to sit and watch the birds. The restaurant offers an excellent variety of birds at the feeder. Plus, the free wi-fi, 24-hour security, on-site car park, and paid airport shuttle add convenience to the stay. Not to mention the outdoor swimming pool, massage, steam room, and spa & wellness centre for relaxation. The flat-screen TV, dryer, and electric kettle provide modern comforts, while the VIP check-in/-out enhances the experience. Hiking and yoga classes are available for active guests. The breakfast, children's play area, children's pool, and children's menu cater to families. Plus, cots are offered for convenience, and pets are allowed for those with beloved furry companions. The air conditioning ensures a comfortable stay, and no smoking onsite makes for a pleasant environment.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were amazing. The parking was convenient, and the location in the beautiful garden was even more impressive than the photos showed. It felt like being in a jungle, with lots of animals around. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at a lodge surrounded by lush jungle and abundant wildlife. Our room may have been basic, but the comfortable beds made up for it. the lodge had wonderful amenities including two pools, two lakes , a restaurant with reasonable prices, and a bar. the gardens were beautiful, with hummingbirds visiting our terrace daily. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. the location was convenient for activities, with the option to eat on-site or take a short ride to town.

The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options. the rooms were spacious and had a lovely back porch to relax on. the shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. I also enjoyed the beautiful birds that could be seen around the lodge. the two swimming pools were clean and provided a refreshing way to cool off. the lodge had a nice atmosphere and there were plenty of activities to do in the area.

The hotel looked a bit run-down with faded colors and signs falling apart. Some areas of the room were a bit grimey, even though the room was cleaned daily.

Large property with 40+ rooms/cabins. Beautiful gardens with abundant wildlife and 2 pools. On-site restaurant is convenient with buffet-style breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. 😊

I had an excellent stay at a lodge just outside of Puerto Viejo. the staff went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. I loved exploring the property and spotting the local wildlife. the bungalows were spacious and well-maintained. the restaurant offered a diverse menu and the portions were huge. the breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options. the entire place was wheelchair accessible, which was a plus. it was a wonderful experience thanks to the helpful staff and beautiful surroundings.

There was no toilet paper in our room upon check-in and the bathroom was old and poorly maintained.
