I stayed at Arenal Backpackers Resort for a few nights during my trip to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and explore the area. The safari tent I rented provided a comfortable bed, and the showers were exceptional, always clean and with hot water. The peaceful atmosphere during my stay made it a great place to relax. The location of the hostel was convenient, and the pool was a nice addition. I also had the chance to meet some wonderful people during my time there. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

I recently stayed at Arenal Backpackers Resort for two days and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, especially one of the guys at the reception who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The rooms with private bathrooms were spacious and comfortable, although a few small improvements like samples and clothing hooks would enhance the experience. The resort also offers great amenities, including a pool, lounge, and hammocks. The packed tour deals provided me with excellent options to explore the area. Additionally, the security gate and lockers gave me peace of mind during my stay.

This accommodation is an excellent option for those wanting a comfortable stay in a central location close to hot springs and national parks. Facilities such as a large swimming pool and an on-site restaurant with affordable meals make it a great value. Rooms are well-maintained and comfortable, with decent-sized dorms and semi-private outdoor tents. Some rooms have beautiful views of lush greenery and, in some cases, peak views of the impressive volcanoes.

One area that could be improved is the staff's attitude towards guests. Although the facilities and location at this accommodation are good, some guests have noted that the staff could do more to demonstrate a welcoming attitude towards them.

The location of the hostel is great, with easy access to the backpacks, Fortuna, and the nearby hot springs. The dorms, although a bit noisy until 2 am, are spacious and comfortable to sleep in. The tents, despite being extremely hot during the day, cool down nicely at night. The staff is helpful and the breakfast is delicious, making for a pleasant start to the day. the pool and restaurant are great facilities to enjoy during your stay.

As a traveler, I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff at the hostel. They were always ready to assist and even helped me book tours and taxis at a reasonable price. The entire hostel was built to a modern standard, with clean bedrooms and comfortable beds. I also liked that each room had lockers for personal belongings. The bathrooms were of great standard and the water was safe to drink. The common areas, like the lounge and pool, were designed in a way that encouraged interaction among guests. The hostel also offered the cheapest beer in town during happy hour. Additionally, the hostel had ample parking space and was surrounded by fenced fields for camping. I also enjoyed the outdoor gym frame, basketball court, and tightrope walks available. Lastly, the Jeep boat Jeep transfer to Monteverde was convenient and affordable.

That there was no kitchen available for guests to use, which made it difficult to prepare our own meals. the staff were not always helpful or friendly, and at times were even rude.

Loved the great atmosphere and pool area. The breakfast was quite satisfactory and the shower facilities were clean. The safari tent was my favorite part, although it was quite stuffy without any headroom. Overall I'd recommend staying here.

The rooms were quite cramped and outdated. the lack of shared kitchen facilities was also disappointing, as it would have been nice to have the option to prepare our own meals.

This hotel has a great location, with easy access to all the tourist attractions in the area. the outdoor swimming pool and the sun terrace are exclusive amenities that add value to the guests' experience. the beautiful garden area with sun loungers offered a relaxing time, while the leisure/TV room was perfect for some entertainment.

The complementary water fill-up service at the front desk was a welcome surprise. the pool area was really nice, and it was great that it was open until late. the location was convenient and close to everything we wanted to see and do.

The rooms were quite small, and there wasn't much space to store luggage or hang clothes. the restaurant options were quite limited and not very healthy, which wasn't ideal for a longer stay.
