We had a fantastic stay at this ecolodge nestled in the rainforest. the location was ideal, close to all the attractions in the area. the cabins were clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm. the owner, Miguel, was incredibly friendly, informative, and passionate about eco-sustainable development. the breakfast, prepared by a super friendly woman, was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, with birds and monkeys visiting regularly. the value for money was outstanding, and we hope to return one day.

We stayed at Cerro Chato Ecolodge for three nights after a long cycle from San Jose, and it was the perfect oasis in the jungle. The owner, Miguel, welcomed us like family and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location just outside of town was peaceful, with easy access to walking routes to explore Cerro Chato. The facilities were top-notch, and the staff, including Marya who served us a delicious breakfast, were all friendly and helpful. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay at a peaceful ecolodge surrounded by nature and wildlife. the cabin was small but comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. the breakfast provided was delicious, and the grounds were beautiful. I especially enjoyed the pool area, where I could spot monkeys, hummingbirds, and other animals. the location was also great, with easy access to a supermarket and hiking trails to the waterfall and Cerro Chato lake. If you're looking for a relaxing and nature-filled getaway, I highly recommend Cerro Chato Ecolodge.

We stayed at a beautiful ecolodge with stunning views of the volcano. the cabins and gardens were lovely, and we even spotted toucans nearby. the family who owns the ecolodge were very nice and helpful. the location was great, with easy walking routes to explore Cerro Chato and a nearby waterfall. There were also restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance, and a local bus that would take you downtown for a very affordable price. the bathroom in our cabin was spacious with a great shower and good water pressure. the breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was amazing.

The room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The owner, Miguel, was extremely helpful and provided us with maps and recommendations without any pressure to buy tours. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and taking in the peaceful surroundings. The included breakfasts were delicious and hearty, giving us the perfect start to our day of exploration. The lodge is located in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the town, making it a peaceful retreat. we highly recommend Cerro Chato Ecolodge for its excellent value for money and its wonderful location.

the location was perfect, with a short walk to a Super Mercado and easy access to the La Fortuna waterfall and Cerro Chato trail. the hike up to the top of Cerro Chato was a great experience. But what truly stood out were our hosts, Miguel and Maria. They went above and beyond to cater to our every need, and Maria's breakfast was absolutely delicious. If we ever return to Costa Rica, Cerro Chato Eco lodge will definitely be on our list. Thank you Miguel and Maria!

We had an amazing time at this conveniently located lodge with delicious breakfast and clean, rustic cabins. Miguel, the owner, was incredibly friendly, informative, and involved with the community and eco-sustainable development. The staff made us feel like family and provided a wonderful atmosphere. The property is within walking distance of a grocery store and offers the perfect balance between being close to town and adventure activities.
