Just returned from an amazing New Year's stay at this hotel. Loved the beautiful pool and the comfortable seating areas throughout the property. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and away from the tourist crowds. the newly renovated villas were spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including a french press and organic coffee. the staff were friendly and made us feel right at home.

There were a couple of downsides. First, our room had a bit of a smoke smell due to people burning trash nearby.

The database room and surroundings were stunning, with beautiful materials and a clean environment. The staff were friendly and attentive. The pool area was a nice oasis and the nearby Avellanos beach was simply stunning. Lola's restaurant was also great.

I would have loved to see yoga classes offered at the lodge. The beautiful yoga shala was underutilized, and it would have been a great addition to the already amazing amenities.

Can't deny the great feeling of stepping onto the property, the first impression is always key and this one seemed to have taken notes on that. the food was tasty and very natural, which made my stomach happy. the location was also key, far from the dust on the main road and close to the beach for those sunset walks. Lastly, the keyless entry was helpful when in a rush.

The maintenance of the property leaves much to be desired as some services listed were unavailable, including the pool bar, and the other bar poorly stocked which ruined my experience of enjoying a nice smoothie poolside. the couch in the villa was uncomfortable and some of the food options came quite different than listed.

Great location for a weekend surf trip, close to Avellanas and Playa Negra. Super comfortable queen bed in a spacious room with a small kitchen area. The hotel has a calm and relaxing atmosphere with a lovely garden. The breakfast room is screened in to keep insects out and the pool is nice, although some mold needs cleaning.

I recently had a delightful stay at a hotel near Playa Avellana. The location was perfect, as it was just a short walk down a pleasant path to a wonderful little beach. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The rooms were well-decorated with a charming cultural theme, adding to the overall ambiance of the hotel. Additionally, the breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, with the best gallo pinto I've ever tasted.

We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Zone! The staff was friendly, and Maria, the manager, was awesome. The resort was well-maintained, with clean and well-laid-out lodges. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pool was beautiful, perfect for our little one. The landscaping was lovely, and we enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The loose-leaf tea and coffee station was a nice touch. Highly recommended for a few days around Playa Avellana.

We loved relaxing in the hammocks and enjoyed delicious breakfasts with fresh juice and a variety of choices. The nearby beaches were stunning. As backpackers, we appreciated the comfortable beds, quiet atmosphere, and the availability of surf boards and bikes. it was a remarkable experience.
