I recently stayed at this beautiful hillside hotel above Jaco and I couldn't have been more impressed. The staff went above and beyond to help us with everything from excursions to transportation. The pool was a true oasis and the spa was a lovely, secluded cabana. The rooms were clean and updated, with all the amenities we could ask for. The location was perfect, only a short taxi ride to all the attractions. this was one of our favorite stops in Costa Rica!

The hotel provided plenty of personal attention and the staff, especially Christo, were incredibly nice. Despite having Celiac disease, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent breakfast options available. the location of the hotel was perfect for us as it allowed us to easily visit Manuel Antonio and Carara National Parks while enjoying a peaceful and quiet setting away from Jaco. the on-site bird watching and lovely pool area were additional highlights of our stay. the spacious and nicely furnished rooms, along with the secure and rural surroundings, made for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

our recent stay in jaco was amazing, but our romantic stay at pumilio mountain & ocean completely surpassed it. the stylish room with a balcony and open air kitchenette was perfect, and the breakfast with a live chef was extraordinary. exceeded all our expectations!

Front door lock malfunctioned.

We had an amazing stay at a hotel in Jaco. the customer service was top-notch, with the front desk host, Kristian, being incredibly helpful, warm. the setting of the hotel was breathtaking, with lush and green surroundings. We absolutely loved the pool area, which made us feel like we were in the middle of a rainforest. Our room had a stunning view of the meadow, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, even more so than our own bed at home. it was a fantastic experience.

We loved the stylish room with a balcony and open air kitchenette. The pool was nice. And the breakfast was extraordinary with a live chef! The surroundings were beautiful, with a small river and trees, giving the ambience of a small and modern boutique hotel. We were able to easily and quickly do our laundry here. The facilities were wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The bathrooms were clean and well equipped too. The hotel provided towels for the pool and even bathrobes. The breakfast had lots of options and was the best part. this place was a nice, clean, and comfortable hotel, and the customer service was amazing.

As a couple, we loved the wonderful facilities and amenities at Pumilio Mountain & Ocean Hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The small kitchen on the outer deck was a convenient addition, allowing us to prepare our own meals. The pool was a great place to relax and cool off, and the surrounding garden added to the peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options. We also appreciated the helpful staff, who provided warm welcomes and were always friendly and accommodating. a perfect place for a relaxing couples getaway.

Der Aufenthalt hier war fantastisch! Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Strandes, in nur 5 Minuten erreicht man das Meer. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und verfügen über eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück war lecker, mit einer Vielzahl von Optionen wie Rühreiern, Pancakes und Croissants. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit, und einige von ihnen sprachen sogar Deutsch. Die WLAN-Verbindung funktionierte einwandfrei, sodass ich problemlos Filme schauen konnte. Es gibt auch Parkmöglichkeiten, entweder im Innenhof oder an der Straße vor dem Hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The booking process was easy and friendly. The facilities were wonderful, with a nice garden at the entrance. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with clean bathrooms that had toiletries and a hairdryer. The closets had a safe, towels for the pool, and even bathrobes. The small kitchen on the outer deck of the rooms had everything we needed, including a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The hotel provided free snacks on arrival and refilled the coffee packets daily. The breakfast was the best part, with a wide variety of options, including waffles, pancakes, omelettes. The hotel also offered a delivery service from nearby restaurants and had a book of tours available for booking. The location was convenient, close to a supermarket and shops, as well as plenty of restaurants in the nearby area.

Its location, just a short drive from the center of town, allows for easy access to the exciting activities and surf of Jaco beach. The hotel is nestled among the lush rainforest and offers breathtaking views of the ocean. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with clean bathrooms. The staff provides excellent service and the breakfast is delicious. The pool is a great place to relax after a day of adventures.

Great hotel with amazing staff! We were welcomed with a drink and had a fantastic check-in experience. The rooms are spacious and can accommodate larger families. We loved the kitchen set-up on our private terrace, perfect for enjoying meals in the hotel. The pool area was also fantastic, and we enjoyed taking a dip whenever we wanted. The hotel offers a unique feature of ordering food from nearby restaurants and having it delivered to our room, which was a great convenience. The hotel also provided free cab trips to and from town if needed, and the breakfast served was delicious with many local dishes to choose from.

The beds were a bit hard, but after a long day exploring Costa Rica, we quickly fell asleep. Although the hotel is a bit away from the hustle and bustle, a quick taxi ride is all it takes to get to the nearby beach.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I had an incredible experience at Pumilio Mountain & Ocean. The hotel's location immersed me in Costa Rican nature, offering daily sightings of toucans, iguanas, and vibrant birds. The pool was a great way to unwind after exploring the beaches and jungles. The room itself was comfortable and felt like home with air conditioning and drinkable water. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and beautiful surroundings.
