We had an amazing time at a hotel right on the beach. The rooms were rustic but comfortable, and we loved being able to unplug and enjoy the sound of the waves. The property had a beautiful landscape with hammocks and loungers, perfect for reading and relaxing. We also appreciated the kitchenette in our room, which allowed us to cook our own meals. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating, providing us with recommendations and even setting up special arrangements for us. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great beachfront location, perfect for enjoying the ocean and the sand. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure all our needs were met.- The hotel had a small pool, which was nice for a quick dip and to cool off.

The rooms were not as clean as we expected, and there were some maintenance issues. The noise levels from outside and other guests were quite high, making it difficult to sleep at times.

The apartments were well-equipped with everything we needed, including a super well-equipped kitchen. The beachfront location was perfect, with hammocks and lounge chairs available for us to relax on. We also loved that boogie boards were provided free of charge. The pool was a great way to cool off, and we enjoyed the privacy and beautiful surroundings. The host, Phyllis, was extremely helpful and friendly, and Jay provided us with excellent recommendations. We even got to join in on a potluck dinner and enjoy some delicious grilled mahi-mahi!

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for a week in Costa Rica and loved every moment. The location is stunning, with a beautiful bay and beach just beyond the pool outside our door. The small pool was perfect for our 5-year-old who became a confident swimmer during our stay. Having a kitchen and BBQ allowed us to self-cater and enjoy meals in the comfort of our own space. Being just out of town and within walking distance of Carrillo Bay was a bonus. Phyllis, the owner, was incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable.

I got amazing value for my money at this hotel. The room was fantastic with a breathtaking view of the beach. The location was perfect, just a short walk from town. The staff treated me like family and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable.

We loved the intimate beachfront location, comfortable beds and pillows, and the great value for being right on the beach. The beach and garden areas were fantastic, with plenty of loungers and shade for us to relax. The pool was also a great addition, perfect for cooling off. The host was incredibly helpful and provided great tips on things to do in the area. it was a perfect spot for us as friends who enjoy going out at nights.

We felt very happy with our stay and had no complaints.

The Fenix Hotel - On The Beach provided a perfect paradise on the ocean with a swimming pool right in front of the units, hammocks, chaise loungers, and eating areas in a beautiful natural setting. The owner, Phyllis, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to connect with guests and assist with their needs such as setting up tours and rides. As a 50+ solo female traveler, I felt incredibly safe and comfortable during my stay. The location was also great, only a short 10-minute walk from town, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere away from the bustling crowds.
