Comfortable beds, good wifi, convenient location, helpful staff.

Everything was fantastic.

We had a great experience staying at this hostel near the airport. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning that actually worked. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the bartenders at the bar were even friendlier. The airport shuttle was convenient and punctual. The hostel was also above average in terms of cleanliness. it was a good place to stay for a night before or after flying.

The lockers were too small to hold anything more than wallet and keys.

I recently stayed at a backpackers hostel near the airport for a few nights. The location was great, just a 5-minute drive from the airport with scheduled shuttles. The rooftop patio was cute and perfect for relaxing under the stars. The staff, especially Nico, were friendly and made me feel at home. They provided helpful information about shuttles, tours, and local events. The hostel had plenty of luggage storage space and the design was stunning with beautiful art deco on the walls. The beds were also comfortable, and I felt safe with a night guard on duty. it was an incredible stay with great amenities.

I stayed at Backpackers Airport for a few nights due to its convenient location near the airport. The hostel is within walking distance of Alajuela, making it easy to find food and explore the area. There are also supermarkets nearby, which is great for stocking up on supplies. The hostel offers a free shuttle service, although it is important to note that it runs at specific times in the morning. The chef at the rooftop bar was incredibly accommodating and tried their best to cater to my dietary needs. The friendly receptionists made my stay even more enjoyable.

Ex-hotel converted to dorms, every room has a bathroom. Superb location next to the central square with plenty of shops and eateries around. Free pick up from the airport, making it convenient for travelers. Friendly and helpful staff, including Juan at the front desk who spoke great English. Clean room with the pleasant surprise of hot water. On-time airport shuttle service. Cozy and friendly lounge area. Perfect for a quick pit stop and felt safe.

We chose to stay at Alajuela Backpackers for its convenient location near the airport and the free shuttle service. The proximity to the airport made our early morning flight much easier to catch. The room, although simple, was clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the air conditioning.

We were able to find a nearby restaurant to grab a quick bite before heading to the airport.

Almost perfect

I loved the convenient location, just a short walk from La Radial where you can catch a bus to La Fortuna. The free shuttle service from the hotel to the airport was a huge plus. The staff, especially the guy at reception, were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room had AC, which was perfect for the hot days.
