We spent 8 days at this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the graciousness shown to us. The staff was helpful and attentive, the pool clean and relaxing, and the bungalows with a hammock were clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant, although a bit pricey, was worth it for one dinner. The breakfast had a great variety and it was lovely to sit by the pool every morning. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and main strip. The hotel grounds were very well kept and lush.

I loved how the location of the hotel was perfect for me - close to the main streets and beach, but still tucked away in the gardens. It gave me the best of both worlds, being able to enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Tamarindo when I wanted to, but also being able to escape to a peaceful and serene environment whenever I needed a break.

That the price seemed a bit high during the busy week of Costa Rica.

The room at Arco Iris was spotless and had a walk-in shower which was perfect after a long day at the beach. I loved the blackout curtains in my bungalow, they allowed me to sleep in as late as I wanted. The breakfast had a good selection of Costa Rican dishes and I enjoyed chatting with the owner and other guests by the pool. The location was convenient, with the beach just a short walk away. I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.
