I stayed at Cariblue for a few nights with my family. The pool was fantastic, especially for my little ones who loved the kid pool. The breakfast buffet and drinks were delicious. Our room had a comfortable king-size bed and a lovely terrace with chairs and a swing. The beachfront location was perfect, just a quick walk across the road.

Would recommend this hotel.

had an amazing weekend trip in puerto viejo de talamanca. the property at cariblue exceeded all expectations - entertaining pool for kids, delicious breakfast, and just steps away from the beach.

This hotel has such potential, with a beautiful green area surrounded by towering trees and wildlife sightings including endemic frogs, sloths, and guatuzas. The cabins/bungalows, although in need of a refresh, are cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Puerto Viejo and right on the stunning Cocles Beach. The swim-up bar and attached jacuzzi are fantastic additions, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

One area for improvement would be the restaurant prices, as they tend to be on the expensive side. However, this doesn't take away from the overall charm and value for money that this hotel offers.

Spacious rooms with nice garden view. Beautiful gardens surrounding and nature everywhere. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great location near Cocles Beach and 1.5 km from town.

We had an amazing weekend at this beachfront resort! the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. the restaurant had delicious food, especially the breakfast with its fresh omelettes, fruits, and local meals. the pool area was fantastic, with a swim-up bar and a jacuzzi. We loved the jungle/rainforest surroundings, waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and feeling like we were in a remote location. Plus, the resort was conveniently located just across the road from a beautiful beach and within walking distance of great eateries.

While our stay was mostly wonderful, there were a few negatives to mention. the bed in our standard room was extremely hard, making it difficult for us side sleepers to get a good night's sleep.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beach and jungle resort. We loved the comfortable beds, refreshing pool, and delicious buffet breakfast. One highlight was being so close to beautiful beaches and indigenous communities. we highly recommend this place for a relaxing and adventurous vacation.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It's located across the street from the beach and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The double room with 2 beds was perfect for my friends and me. We woke up every morning to a delicious breakfast and enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table in our free time. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs, ensuring we had a great stay.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, right across the street from a beautiful beach. As someone who loves surfing, I couldn't have asked for a better spot to stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the garden. I particularly liked the double bed and single bed setup, perfect for a family with older kids. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and provided excellent service. They were always willing to assist and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast offered at the hotel was delicious and had a good variety of options. It was definitely a great way to start the day.

Stayed for 6 nights, could have stayed longer. Bungalow at rear of property was spacious and well furnished, with air con and a nice bathroom. Beautiful grounds, saw sloths, frogs, and heard howler monkeys. Good, sized swimming pool with swim, up bar for happy hour. Enjoyed reasonably priced dinners and good breakfasts. Staff approachable and helpful, particularly Edwin and Junior. Convenient location, close to supermarket and great inexpensive restaurant.

Poor food and service in the restaurant. Terrible smell of mold and sewage in the rooms, with no running water.

One thing that could be improved is the water pressure in the bathrooms. It tends to be a bit low, which can be frustrating at times.

During my Christmas stay, we enjoyed two lovely complementary gestures from the hotel staff. the location is ideal for beach lovers, with stunning views right outside your door. We also appreciated the convenience of having a pool steps away from our room.

The hotel rooms were damp and dark, which made for an unpleasant stay. the lack of Wi-Fi in our room and unhappy breakfast servers made our stay even worse.

Incredible staff, delicious food and drinks, sloths sightings, clean and tidy grounds, attractive pool and restaurant, romantic dinner with new recipes.
