I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is simply the best, as it is right opposite the bus stop and a short walk to the park entrance. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a unique and organic interior design that blended perfectly with the surrounding nature. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The highlight for me was the private trail that led down to the beautiful river, where I could relax and enjoy the soothing sound of the water. this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of its location, cleanliness, facilities, and staff.

Although the creative construction of the hotel is visually impressive, it may not be suitable for everyone due to the numerous steps and narrow stairs throughout the property. These features can pose potential hazards and may not be comfortable for all guests.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, opening their restaurant early to serve us breakfast before our hike. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

I recently stayed at a unique hotel in Herradura for a few nights. The hotel's building is truly one-of-a-kind, with a big window at the front that overlooks the jungle. The interior has a great stony design, including a massive boulder in our room and walls made of smaller boulders. The restaurant served delicious food with large portions, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a quiet place to unwind. We were lucky to have the best room in the hotel, with a view of the canopy outside our window where we could watch birds in the morning. I highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms, although small, were functional and had a view of the forest. The hotel also had direct quick access to the river, which was very nice. The Roca Dura restaurant served delicious food and the staff was great. The location was superb, close to the bus stop and within walking distance of the town's attractions, market, and hiking trails. The hotel had excellent cleanliness, good hotel facilities, and convenient parking. Additionally, the breakfast provided was superb, especially the pancakes with fruit. we highly recommend this place for a unique and memorable experience.

The interior of my room was equally impressive, with a massive boulder and walls made of smaller boulders. I even had a view of the canopy from my window, where I could watch beautiful birds in the morning. The beds were comfortable and spacious, and there was plenty of room for me to relax. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. The food at the hotel's restaurant was the most authentic I had tasted during my entire trip in Costa Rica, and it was all made with fresh produce. The hotel's location was also convenient, with easy access to the nearby Chirripó offices and a grocery store. I had a fantastic experience at Roca Dura and would highly recommend it to others.

We had an excellent stay at Roca Dura! the staff was incredibly helpful, especially when we needed assistance with our hiking plans for Chirripó. the location was convenient, with easy access to town and restaurants. the wooden structure gave the hotel a unique and charming feel, and we loved spending time on the beautiful back porch surrounded by trees and flowers. the delicious breakfast prepared for our group at 5am was a special touch that made our stay even more memorable. the lack of parking space was not an issue as we were able to park safely in front of the hotel.
