Nothing not too like.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the peaceful and secluded location tucked away in the jungle. The garden was beautifully maintained with a variety of native trees and flowering plants, creating a serene atmosphere. The bird species we encountered in the mornings were a delightful sight. The hotel's proximity to the coast made it perfect for exploring nearby beaches like Matapalo and Playa Linda. Additionally, it was a short drive to Manuel Antonio and Dominical, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding areas.

Felt safe, nothing to complain about.

The property was stunningly beautiful and surrounded by nature. the sounds of the birds and wildlife in the morning were amazing. the hotel had a private hiking trail to a waterfall, which was a great adventure. the location was also great, being close to a secluded and pristine beach.

The breakfast options were very limited and became boring after a few days. This caused inconvenience as we had to travel a long distance to an ATM to withdraw cash.

We had an amazing value for our money at La Palapa Eco Lodge Resort. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the coast, with beautiful beaches just a short drive away. The staff treated us with utmost kindness and attentiveness throughout our stay.

We recently stayed at a hidden gem called La Palapa Eco Lodge Resort and had an amazing time. The location is perfect for those seeking adventure off the beaten path. The host was friendly and gave us great recommendations for nearby attractions and hidden beaches. The resort grounds were well taken care of and came alive with the sounds of nature at night. The rooms were cozy and clean, although a bit rustic. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options. Although there were no air conditioning, the ceiling fan provided enough comfort during our stay. The resort is situated between two national parks and near beautiful, quiet beaches. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel for those looking for a unique and adventurous experience.

Beautiful gardens with a variety of birds and butterflies. Helpful owner who provided a map with detailed information about the area. Key location between two national parks. Excursions, especially the tour to Caño Island, were excellent.

Unwelcoming check-in experience, owner did not acknowledge or greet guests. Felt like being in grade school with strict rules.

Fantastic lodge with great architecture and a beautiful layout. Surrounded by jungle, the whole resort offers a unique experience in direct touch with nature. Bungalows hidden in vegetation with stunning views. Nice pool and reception. Plenty of wildlife around.

The staff is accommodating and goes out of their way to make you feel special.

I had an incredible stay at this beautiful hotel nestled deep in the jungle. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by tropical gardens and lush rainforest. The hotel is surrounded by all kinds of tropical trees and is a true oasis of natural beauty. The rooms are elegantly designed, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The service was exceptional, with amenities like car hire, housekeeping, and airport shuttle available. I especially loved the relaxing swimming pool and the sun terrace, perfect for enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The staff also offered a variety of services, including massages and assistance with tours and tickets. this place is a true paradise.

The rainforest surroundings are stunning, and the property is expansive. The manager is friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations. The breakfast is delicious with a nice selection of tea. The beds are comfortable, and the villa has excellent air circulation. Living here feels like a dream.

The gardens at this resort are absolutely beautiful, with a wide variety of plants and flowers to enjoy. the attention to detail and the surprising objects of art make the surroundings unique and enchanting. I also loved the breakfast that was included in my stay - it was fresh, filling, and delicious.

I had a negative experience with the owners of the resort. They were very overbearing and insistent on controlling the behavior of their guests.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at La Palapa. The resort's beautiful gardens were filled with life, and we were greeted by hummingbirds every morning before breakfast. The food was delicious, and the resort's location in the untouched forest allowed us to encounter exciting wildlife on the trail to the waterfall. The hospitality from Manuel and Laura was unparalleled, and our spacious cabin was tastefully decorated and fully equipped. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely return.
