loved our stay in san gerardo de dota. las cataratas lodge exceeded our expectations. amazing staff, beautiful surroundings, and delicious food. highly recommended for nature lovers and birdwatchers.

Small heaters, not enough to warm up the cottage.

We enjoyed the location as it was nestled in a beautiful area perfect for hiking and there was a stream nearby which was a refreshing change from the city. The environment we found was conducive for relaxation and peace. The food served at the hotel was cooked to perfection and we also tried the local delicacies such as the fresh salad and fish filet which were delicious.

Our stay at this hotel over Easter was significantly hampered by the lack of available amenities. The rooms were poorly equipped and we had to share one bathroom among four individuals which proved to be inconvenient.

The lodge is located very close to the main road, surrounded by beautiful flowers, with hummingbirds and waterfalls. The cabin had a lovely primary rainforest backdrop. The friendly hosts offered a delicious breakfast and the hiking trails were amazing.

The room was cold at night and the water in the shower was tepid.

Staying here was truly a luxurious and exclusive experience. The hotel exceeded my expectations with their outstanding service, beautiful garden area, and private facilities. The room that I stayed in had exclusive amenities that made my stay even more comfortable. The restaurant on the property offered delicious meals with a wide range of options. Additionally, the location advantages of this hotel being surrounded by nature and located in an off the beaten path destination was the perfect escape from the city hustle and bustle.

The only minor issue I encountered during my stay was the Wi-Fi connection. I understand that being in an isolated location can make Wi-Fi connectivity difficult, but it would have been helpful to have a more stable connection.

Gorgeous surroundings, hummingbirds, blackberries for juices, kind and awesome staff, extraordinary coffee and juices.
