los pinos cabins & reserve villa in monteverde exceeded my expectations. the friendly owner, rafael, provided a warm welcome and was knowledgeable. the location was perfect, with nearby restaurants and attractions like the cloud forest and rachel & dwight crandell reserve. the spacious cabin had all the amenities needed, including a kitchen and daily housekeeping.

While the location was picturesque, it was a bit secluded, making it necessary to have a car for easy access to the nearby city. the chilly evenings and mornings required us to bundle up, so make sure to pack some warmer clothes if visiting.

The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook meals, and we enjoyed dining at the picnic table outside. We were thrilled to see lots of wildlife right from our cabin windows. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing extra blankets to keep us warm on cool nights. Despite a minor issue with housekeeping, we loved the rest of our stay at Los Pinos. The pathways and viewing point on the property were absolutely beautiful, even in the rain. The bungalow was well-equipped and sitting on the porch watching the world go by was pure joy. There were also good restaurants and a bakery within walking distance. a great place to stay.

We shared the bungalow with other people as the bedrooms had keys, which was a bit unexpected and not ideal. Additionally, the bungalow could use some storage space for clothes and a little heater for cooler evenings.

We had an amazing stay at Los Pinos Cabins! The friendly and knowledgeable family running the hotel made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature and with great environmental consciousness. Our spacious cabin was cleaned daily and had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to toiletries in the showers. The beds were really comfortable and the veranda was a great place to relax. The on-site playground and nature walks were perfect for our family. Plus, seeing all sorts of animals in our own garden was a bonus!

We loved the location of this hotel, as it was close to everything Monteverde has to offer. We could easily walk down the street to shops and restaurants, making it really convenient for us. The hotel also provided easy and secure parking, which was a great plus. Additionally, being close to nature was a highlight. We saw interesting wildlife on the property, including the agouti and beautiful motmot. The property had great trails that we enjoyed exploring.
