los pinos cabins & reserve villa in monteverde exceeded my expectations. the friendly owner, rafael, provided a warm welcome and was knowledgeable. the location was perfect, with nearby restaurants and attractions like the cloud forest and rachel & dwight crandell reserve. the spacious cabin had all the amenities needed, including a kitchen and daily housekeeping.

Amazing nature within the grounds with abundant wildlife, including armadillos, agoutis, coatis, and various bird species.-Walking trails on the property leading to a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the forest and the sea.

The location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful pine forests and offering breathtaking sunset viewpoints. the availability of fresh vegetables for purchase was a delightful bonus, allowing us to enjoy farm-to-table meals during our stay.

While the location was picturesque, it was a bit secluded, making it necessary to have a car for easy access to the nearby city. the chilly evenings and mornings required us to bundle up, so make sure to pack some warmer clothes if visiting.

The pathways and viewing point on the property were absolutely beautiful, even in the rain. The bungalow was well-equipped and sitting on the porch watching the world go by was pure joy. There were also good restaurants and a bakery within walking distance. a great place to stay.

We shared the bungalow with other people as the bedrooms had keys, which was a bit unexpected and not ideal. Additionally, the bungalow could use some storage space for clothes and a little heater for cooler evenings.
