We stayed at a lovely lodge in Puerto Jimenez called Osa Lodge, which served as our base for exploring the southern part of the Osa Peninsula. The location is in a quiet area, a bit outside of town, allowing for easier animal spotting. The lodge has a beautiful and well-kept garden, a nice pool, and even a shared kitchen for preparing meals. The rooms are cozy and tidy, with comfortable beds, private bathrooms, and hammocks on the porch. The staff, including the Spanish and Italian owners, were extremely helpful in organizing tours and ordering food. We also enjoyed the delicious, typical breakfast they prepared, which they kindly accommodated as vegan/vegetarian for us. the lodge provided a great experience and we would love to return in the future.

We had a fantastic time at this hidden gem in Puerto Jimenez. The set up at Osa Lodge is absolutely perfect, with each cabin providing great privacy. The gardens are beautifully maintained, attracting a variety of exotic birds, including breathtaking hummingbirds. We even spotted scarlet macaws in the nearby trees. Our cabin was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The addition of a pool and a lovely common area made our stay even more enjoyable. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, even catering to the dietary needs of our vegan friends at short notice. And lastly, the breakfast was simply delicious.

The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a beautiful garden and a great pool area. The location was perfect for me, as it was in a quiet area but still close enough to explore the surrounding attractions. The breakfast served every morning was delicious and there was a communal kitchen available for guests to use. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, breakfast, and staff were all exceptional.

The hosts were incredibly accommodating, even serving breakfast at 4.am. The garden and pool were exquisite, and the lodges were quite comfortable.

Loved how far out it was, it really added to the adventure. No worries about finding restaurants or grocery stores, I just ordered taxis all the time.
