Martin, the owner of Townsend House Guest House, was incredibly friendly and talkative from the moment we arrived. We were promptly shown to our room, which happened to be conveniently located next to the restaurant, perfect for our dinner reservation. the room itself was impeccably clean, neat, and had a unique charm to it. It felt spacious and had a refreshing ambiance.

The database provided excellent amenities such as a room with high ceilings and very clean facilities. I appreciated the attention to detail, especially with the single bed being a comfortable four poster bed.

It was a minor inconvenience, but it did hinder my ability to work efficiently.

Spending Christmas at this guest house was a great experience. We loved the traditional decorations and cozy fireplace in the common area. the proximity to the town center made it easy to explore and enjoy the local holiday festivities. the included breakfast was delicious and a great way to start each day.

The parking situation was difficult as it was offsite and required a bit of a walk. the noise level from the nearby street was quite loud and made it difficult to sleep at times.
