We got great value for our money at this lodge. The room was comfortable and had a rustic charm. The location was beautiful, with stunning views of the Pacuare River. The staff treated us like family and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

During my 4-night stay at Pacuare River Lodge, I had the most amazing experience exploring the waterfalls and disconnecting from my phone. Johanna and the entire staff were so accommodating and made me feel welcome. The guides and volunteers were all amazing people who I truly enjoyed spending time with. The food, cooked by the talented chef, was delicious, and the sound of the rainforest and river were incredibly beautiful. Highly recommend staying more than 1 night to fully enjoy all that the lodge has to offer.

The absolute highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Such a different and memorable stay. No internet so you disconnect completely. We stayed for two nights. Rafting in and out was highly recommended. The lodge is set on a beautiful mountain overlooking the Pacuare River. Small wooden cabins for 2 persons. The experience is so wonderful, feeling close to nature. The staff is kind and attentive. Departure by raft was also amazing. Thanks to Pacuare River Lodge and staff for an amazing experience.

I had an amazing time at Pacuare River Lodge during my recent stay. The staff, especially the guy who cooks the meals, were phenomenal. The location is perfect for rafting, with beautiful scenic views and a jungle setting. The level of the river was just right, and the rafting experience was filled with adrenaline and excitement. The cabins were comfortable and gave the feeling of sleeping in the outdoors. The beds were cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious. The river trip in and out was unforgettable, and my adult kids said it was one of the highlights of their life. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

The rustic huts offered a simple yet charming experience, with stunning views and the soothing sound of the river and birds in the background. the garden was a delightful place to explore, with an abundance of beautiful birds and butterflies. the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service, always friendly and attentive. the terrace at the restaurant provided a breathtaking view, perfect for enjoying meals and socializing with other guests. the homemade food was delicious, and the house pool, which was actually a pond in the river, was a unique and enjoyable feature. the guided hikes and river rafting experience were a definite highlight, offering a great adventure surrounded by nature.

While the rustic nature of the huts added to the charm, a better explanation of what to expect would have been helpful for a smoother experience. There was not much space in the standard bungalows, with only a bed and a strong mosquito net.

We had a fantastic stay at a riverside lodge in Bajo Tigre. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The lodge had clean and comfortable cabins with mosquito-proof beds. The location was on the wild side, surrounded by the beautiful rainforest and river. The lodge provided transportation, making it convenient for us. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared by the guides. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding waterfalls and disconnecting from our phones.

Absolutely stunning location, remote and peaceful. Knowledgeable guide, William. Plenty of outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and rafting. Abundance of birds, butterflies, and wildlife. Delicious food.

During our New Year's stay, we loved the incredible surroundings and the opportunity to go on an adrenaline, filled rafting adventure. the location of the lodge was truly awe, inspiring, nestled in the heart of a lush rainforest. the views from the lodge's terrace were breathtaking, with the river flowing in the background and providing a soothing soundtrack to our stay. Additionally, the friendly and helpful staff made our experience even more enjoyable, providing excellent service and ensuring that we had everything we needed.

Our experience was marred by some communication issues and last, minute changes. There seemed to be a lack of responsiveness from the owner, which caused some confusion and frustration.

We had an incredible rafting tour and spent the night in the lodge. the location was magical, surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest. It was so peaceful to disconnect from the outside world and simply observe the beautiful birds and butterflies. the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. it was a special experience that I will never forget.

The staff, especially our guide Jorge, made our adventures safe, fun, and enjoyable. The food was the best we had in Costa Rica, and the staff truly made our experience well worth it.
