This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi in public areas, a cozy bar/lounge, and a great restaurant. The staff helped with a late departure, which I appreciated. I’m coming back for Christmas!

utterly disapointing, I expected a stay with elegance but instead received a broken toilet flush and a worn-out mattress. They could have at least upgraded my room for all the trouble. The continental breakfast was an absolute joke. I woudl ve been better off at a roadside diner. almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

The location by the river was truly delightful, complemented by a soothing weir sound at night. The cooked breakfast was a highlight, freshly made and satisfying. However, the room felt a bit dated with some worn-out furniture, and I experienced issues with the shower temperature. Access to lower floors was unexpectedly locked, leading to a frustrating moment trying to find a way out. Dinner was average. my beef pie lacked flavor. I would consider returning for the ambiance and staff friendliness, despite some setbacks.

Had a fab time, but the room was a bit tired and needed a refresh, eh? Loved the huge outdoor area by the river for a chill arvo. Chur!

Stunning views of the Thames, charming old pub vibe, live music entertainment

The decor in public areas is outdated and needs a refresh!!! Moreover, issues with noise disturbances from live music and other guests were bothersome!!! A lack of soundproofing is something that should definitely be addressed!!!

This place is wicked awesome! Second time around, and it never disappoints. The staff is super chill and friendly, really makes ya feel at home. Plus, the views by the river were just beautiful. Nothing beats enjoying a drink on the balcony. Could spend all day there, for sure.

Excellent riverside location, cozy ambiance, and incredible food. The cooked-to-order breakfast was a real highlight. We even brought our 3 dogs and they had the best time exploring the nearby walking paths. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

My wife wishes the rooms had a more modern touch.

The staff was super friendly,, always there to help with a smile. The breakfast was freshly cooked and worth every penny, especially with that lovely riverside path leading into town.

the weir has a lovely location overlooking the river thames, which is perfect for a peaceful night after the pub closes. our deluxe double room with a balcony was clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. we were even lent a spare phone charger by the manager, which was a nice touch. the food was very good too!

the bar area could use some updating.
