I stayed at a lovely villa right on the beach called Paisajes Del Tortuguero. Despite my limited Spanish, the owner made a real effort to make me feel welcome. The location was amazing, with the sound of the waves crashing being the perfect lullaby at night. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the well-equipped kitchen. The hot shower was a welcome luxury, and considering the reasonable price, it was definitely a great value for money. Additionally, the owner treated us to a memorable barbecue night with free food and beer, where we got the chance to meet some of his friends. One of the staff members even picked a coconut for us and shared it. A special mention goes to Verny, who not only served as an amazing host but also an excellent tour guide. His wildlife tour, which isn't listed here, was a highlight where we spotted various animals, including camins. Verny's knowledge and passion made the experience even more special.

The location right on the beach was perfect for enjoying the sunrise and exploring the town. We loved the convenience of having a grocery store just a minute's walk away. The room was comfortable with a fan to keep us cool, and we enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks outside. The tours offered by the hotel were well-organized and the guides provided binoculars and lights. it was a great spot to relax and immerse ourselves in the beauty of Tortuguero.

We did encounter a few small issues during our stay. The door locks were a bit tricky and took some practice to get them to work properly.

We got great value for our money at Paisajes Del Tortuguero Villa. The room was basic but comfortable, matching the pictures on the website, and there was hot water too. The location was fantastic, right on the beach with a lovely garden where we could enjoy the ocean view. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The owner, Ken, is really nice and helpful! He took care of our activities and made sure we were in a small group with the guide. The location is great, right in front of the best part of the beach. The rooms are comfy, clean, and come with a private bathroom, hot shower, fan. The view is amazing, beachfront! The kitchen is well-equipped and invites socializing with other travelers.

The location is excellent, right on the ocean, but it can be noisy at night with barking dogs, crying babies, and roosters.

The open space at the entrance provided fantastic sea views, and being in a quiet part of the town made it even more enjoyable. The hostel owners, Laura and Nico, were a wonderful couple who showed great hospitality. The food they offered was delicious and we were pleasantly surprised with extra fruit juices. We also took part in two tours organized by Boa, both the morning canoe tour and the turtle tour in the evening. These experiences were truly mind-blowing, with enthusiastic guides Elliott and Verny. We can't wait to return to this fantastic place and reconnect with Ken!

One aspect that could be improved is the privacy in the sea-view rooms. The curtains need to be closed for privacy, as other guests pass by on the balcony.
