Best aspects of our Christmas stay were the welcoming staff and convenient location. the staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. the location was ideal, with several bars, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. We loved the fact that there was a supermarket just around the corner, making it easy to stock up on supplies. the big balcony was a great feature, providing a lovely space to relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Worst aspects of our Christmas stay included the unpleasant smell in our first room and the lack of communication regarding the water situation. It was only after we insisted that we were given a new room, although it still had stains and marks on the bedding.

The location of the hotel is perfect for beach lovers, as it is right across from one of the nicest bits of Santa Teresa beach. You can easily walk to the beach within minutes and enjoy the beautiful sand and surf. the hotel is super close to the beach, allowing you to have easy access to all the beach activities and sunset views.

The noise from the street and hallway can be quite disruptive, especially if you are a light sleeper.

I stayed at Point Break for a week-long surf trip and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Santa Teresa. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach, surf schools, supermarkets, and great restaurants. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, and the daily cleaning service made our stay even more pleasant. The warm shower water was a rare luxury in Costa Rica. The patio with ample seating and a beautiful garden added to the overall charm of the hotel. The staff, including the receptionists and cleaning ladies, were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was superb, being super close to the beach entrance. It was so convenient for us to enjoy the beautiful Santa Teresa beach. The hotel facilities were great, with comfortable beds and fine showers in our private room. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling and willing to assist with anything we needed. We really appreciated the community feel of the place, where we could meet other travelers and digital nomads. Despite this, the hotel was peaceful and quiet at night, allowing us to get a good night's sleep. The rooms were spacious and equipped with AC and fans, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay.

I had an amazing experience at Point Break Santa Teresa! The hostel was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. The dorm rooms were great, with good beds, a nice bathroom, and even a terrace in mine. The cleaning ladies did an awesome job, cleaning everything in the hostel, including our room and bathroom, every day. The reception staff, especially Santi, were fantastic and made me feel welcome from day one. The location was brilliant, right across from one of the nicest parts of Santa Teresa beach. The hostel was on the main street, so you could people-watch, but it wasn't too noisy in the rooms. The lovely balcony was a bonus for relaxation and drying things. Considering the overall quality and style, staying here felt like a treat, especially at such a great value for money. It was also convenient to have a kitchen and the added bonus of free coffee all day long.

The breakfast experience could be improved.

We had such a wonderful time staying at Point Break in Santa Teresa! the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to great surf breaks like Selina, Zeneidas, and La Lora. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the option to rent a bicycle or ATV for exploring the area. we highly recommend Point Break for its excellent location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations.

the room lacked storage space, with only two tiny night tables and small shelves. It was difficult to keep our belongings organized.

We stayed 5 nights at Point Break and it was great! We loved the nice location that allowed us to explore Santa Teresa, going to the beach, doing yoga, eating well. We used the shared kitchen everyday, and it was perfect to make breakfast & lunch. The room is simple but with everything you need. We booked a room upstairs with a balcony which was perfect for more privacy. The staff was always super friendly and the place was always super clean. I had to work during our stay and Wifi was good speed and stable. Definitely recommend this place.

It was easy to explore the area and make the most of my vacation.
