I had a fantastic experience staying at Sabalo Lodge. the cabin I stayed in was comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. the owners, Philippe and his wife, were very helpful and made delicious local dishes using fresh, local ingredients. the highlight of my stay was going on a night shrimp hunting excursion in the river, surrounded by the jungle. the lodge offers a variety of tours, including visits to Cona's Island and exploring the mangrove forests. the peaceful ambiance, beautiful garden, and abundance of wildlife added to the overall charm of the place. Having WiFi available was also a plus, especially for those with teenagers.

We definitely got great value for our money at Sabalo Lodge Tours And Cabins. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a well-fitted kitchen and a lovely balcony. The location was perfect for us, away from the crowds, but still close enough to Corcovado for day tours. The staff treated us exceptionally well, making us feel welcome and going above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible.

Hotel breakfast could use some improvement, maybe by adding a wider variety of options.

Located in the middle of the Mangroves, it provided a tranquil and beautiful setting. the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was taken care of. They were multilingual, speaking English, Spanish, and French. the kitchen was excellent, with delicious breakfast options. the lodge also offered a memorable Mangrove tour, where we saw an abundance of wildlife. the proximity to Corcovado National Park was a major plus for us. We highly recommend Sabalo Lodge for a unique and unforgettable experience.

We had an incredible time at Sabalo Lodge. the lodge itself is in a stunning location, surrounded by lush jungle and close to the mangroves. the house they provided for us was absolutely fabulous, with its own equipped kitchen and comfortable accommodations for a group of 4 or 5. the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the meals included were delicious, made with fresh local produce. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including horseback riding, mangrove tours, and hiking. the lodge's isolation added to the peaceful and serene atmosphere. We highly recommend Sabalo Lodge and would definitely stay here again.

The rough road leading to the property was a bit of a challenge. It would have been helpful to have clearer directions or a more reliable transportation option.

We loved the guided tours and hikes to waterfalls, where we saw birds, monkeys, and even crocodiles. The WiFi was strong and reliable.
