The location of the hotel, tucked away in a small alley, was perfect for exploring all the main sites of the city. Additionally, the room was comfortable and had excellent temperature control. The bathroom had a powerful shower and the courtyard provided a pleasant view. The staff went above and beyond to make sure guests had an enjoyable stay, even arranging taxis and providing helpful recommendations. it was a great place to base oneself for exploring the area.

I recently stayed at Gui Yuan Tian Ju Guesthouse for 3 nights during my trip to Lijiang. The inn is tucked away on a quiet side-street, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The decor is charming and the rooms are comfortable, with clean and cozy beds. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in sharing information about the local Naxi culture. Plus, the resident dogs are gentle and great with kids. I had a fantastic experience at this property.

The staff at Gui Yuan Tian Ju Guesthouse were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided us with a detailed map of Lijiang Ancient Town and gave us great recommendations on places to visit and how to get around. The room was modern and clean, with a good bathroom and a TV with many channels. The hotel also offered a concierge service to help with luggage on the pebble stone road, which was a thoughtful touch. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like construction outside the hotel and limited soundproofing between rooms, our overall experience was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms.

Additionally, the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, picking us up from the taxi drop-off point and helping us carry our luggage to the hotel. The room was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including electric blankets for the chilly nights.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the old town, within 5 minutes walking distance to most attractions. The staff is super friendly, always greeting us with hot tea and a warm smile. The room is equipped with a humidifier to combat the dry air. Jason, one of the staff members, was incredibly knowledgeable about Lijiang and the surrounding areas, providing helpful advice.

Parking was easy as we found a public lot nearby. We appreciated the help they provided in carrying our luggage to and from our car.

I recently had a lovely stay at Gui Yuan Tian Ju Guesthouse in Lijiang. the staff went above and beyond to make our visit special, especially with our two children. They were incredibly helpful with strollers and umbrellas, making our stay much more convenient. the location was fantastic, just a short three-minute walk from the touristy shopping streets, yet still quiet enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. We also loved the nearby restaurants and coffee shops. the beds were soft and comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was great. it was a fabulous experience and I highly recommend this guesthouse.
