We had a fantastic stay at Selina in San Jose. the room and building were spotlessly clean, and the check-in and check-out process was incredibly convenient. the location of the hostel couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city. We felt safe and secure thanks to the optimal security measures in place. the art that adorned the building was captivating, making Selina stand out from your average hostel. We loved the additional amenities, such as the movie room, chill area, and the bar/restaurant with delicious food and drinks. the staff, especially Sofia in the restaurant, were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The hotel had fantastic facilities, including a social area and a kitchen that were great for meeting people and cooking meals. The location in the center of this city was convenient, with easy access to museums, the central market, and parks. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel is great, situated in a nice neighborhood near restaurants and close to everything. The rooms are cozy and creatively decorated, creating a unique atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. the common areas offer a variety of facilities such as a movie room, chill area, and a bar/restaurant with delicious food and drinks.

The shower in the room had some issues, with one guest mentioning a blocked drain and no hot water.

As young families, we loved the spacious rooms and great water pressure in the clean bathrooms. The common area was cool and inviting, and the kitchen facilities were excellent. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the bus stop from the airport and the bus stands to Puerto Viejo and Puerto Jiménez. it was a good choice for a night or two.

The design and vibe of this spot were really cool. the staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome. the beds were comfortable, which was a big plus for a good night's sleep. the location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to explore. I also enjoyed the huge facilities, especially the kitchen area where I could cook my meals and the sitting area to relax and meet other guests.

Another downside was that there was no air conditioning, making it uncomfortably hot during the daytime hours. I lost internet access for an entire day, which was quite inconvenient especially as an international traveler.

My private room was small and lacked storage space, but the decoration was hip and modern. The shared bathroom needed better maintenance and replenishment of toiletries, but there were good food options and a lively atmosphere. Overall I'll recommend this hostel.

We had an amazing stay in a hostel, perfectly located in the center of the city, by the public buses. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and curtains for privacy. The bathroom exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness and availability. The breakfast was tasty and varied, perfect to start the day exploring the city. The staff was friendly and very helpful, always attentive to our needs. There were many facilities available, like little corners around the hostel for privacy, great for group of friends.
