We had a fantastic stay at Selina in San Jose. The room and building were spotlessly clean, and the check-in and check-out process was incredibly convenient. The location of the hostel couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city. We felt safe and secure thanks to the optimal security measures in place. The art that adorned the building was captivating, making Selina stand out from your average hostel. We loved the additional amenities, such as the movie room, chill area, and the bar/restaurant with delicious food and drinks. The staff, especially Sofia in the restaurant, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The overall vibe of Selina was amazing, making it the perfect place to stay in San Jose before exploring other destinations.

The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. the common areas offer a variety of facilities such as a movie room, chill area, and a bar/restaurant with delicious food and drinks.

The shower in the room had some issues, with one guest mentioning a blocked drain and no hot water.

As young families, we loved the spacious rooms and great water pressure in the clean bathrooms. The common area was cool and inviting, and the kitchen facilities were excellent. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the bus stop from the airport and the bus stands to Puerto Viejo and Puerto Jiménez. it was a good choice for a night or two.
