Had an amazing weekend in a unique, remote place surrounded by breathtaking views of the jungle. Saw a variety of animals and enjoyed sitting in the hammock on the balcony. Loved the emphasis on sustainability and the knowledge of the guides. Wide range of tours available, with small groups. the location was special and remote, with a river to cross. the jungle was beautiful and untouched by humans. Appreciated the biodegradable soap in the bathroom.

Group tables for meals, would have preferred the option to sit by ourselves. Beer was very expensive at $5 each.

The view from the balcony and the comfortable bed in the bungalows were like a dream. The huge bathroom and cleanliness of the lodge were impressive. The fresh and delicious food, along with the helpful staff, made the stay enjoyable. The jungle hike and horseback riding tours provided great experiences. The efforts of the host in water and forest conservation projects were admirable.

The open-air cabins provide a unique experience, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature. With hammocks on the balcony, it's the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The guided hikes and horseback tours offer an opportunity to explore the surrounding jungle and learn about the environment. The food is delicious, with planned meals that satisfy and leave guests feeling satisfied.

Some guests may find the lack of variety in meal options a drawback.

We had the best time at Selva Bananito Lodge. the owner's love for nature and sustainability is undeniable. the concept of the hotel is amazing. the staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel at home. the location is beautiful, surrounded by rainforest and offering a true escape from crowded beaches. the lodges are cozy with spacious terraces overlooking the fields. There are plenty of activities to try, including hikes and horse tours. it is a recommended choice for experiencing the Costa Rican wildlife.

I had an incredible stay at this lodge. the location was absolutely breathtaking, nestled in the heart of nature. the cabins were clean and beautifully furnished, offering a real immersion in the rainforest. the personal touch of the lodge made it feel like a home away from home, perfect for solo travelers. the meals in the lodge were a highlight, with candlelight creating a cozy ambiance. the activities offered, such as horseback riding and jungle hikes, were well-organized and enjoyable. I had a memorable and enriching experience at Selva Bananito Lodge.
