The location of the lodge was absolutely amazing, situated right in the heart of a beautiful rainforest. We loved being able to see wildlife right at our doorstep and the guided tours provided a great opportunity to spot even more animals. the lodge had a variety of walking trails and even a canopy tram, offering a unique experience to explore the surrounding nature. the food served at the lodge was delicious, and we enjoyed the convenience of having a restaurant nearby for a quick bite.

One thing that could be improved is the communication from the staff regarding the available walking trails. We had to ask multiple times before getting clear information.

We had an unforgettable experience at Tapirus Lodge. Upon arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us and even guided us to see a tapir roaming around the property. My boyfriend, an avid photographer, captured stunning pictures of the tapir and a beautiful snake. Our guide, Juan Miguel, took us on an evening adventure to photograph frogs, and in the morning, he showed us more fascinating wildlife like sloths and coatis. If you're interested in seeing animals, this lodge is a fantastic choice!

The showers had old-fashioned fittings that constantly changed temperature, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the food at the restaurant was not up to par, so if you have a car, I recommend dining at nearby restaurants.

We had an incredible stay at the lodge. The room in the jungle was spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We were impressed with the well-equipped bungalows and the warm water in the shower. The hotel facilities offered a range of activities, including walks, ziplines, and a cable car, all surrounded by the beautiful forest. The location of the lodge was perfect, allowing us to spot numerous animals in the area. The friendly staff at both the reception and the restaurant/bar made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the exceptional night tour with Juan, who shared his extensive knowledge about the animals we encountered. He even went the extra mile by showing us and other guests various animals during the day for free. It was truly a great experience.

We stayed at a hidden gem right in the heart of Braulio Carrillo National Park. the lodge was beautiful and surrounded by the rainforest. Despite the rain, we couldn't resist going on walks and were amazed by the abundance of animal noises. the staff at the lodge were friendly and helpful. the rooms were spacious and offered a chance to see nature all around us. the included morning and evening forest walks were a fun experience. We also enjoyed the nearby restaurant, "La cocina de Mami," which had delicious food and friendly owners. it was a convenient and memorable stop between San Jose and the Caribbean coast.

We had an amazing experience at the lodge and reserve. the night walk with our knowledgeable guide was fantastic, and we were able to spot various animals in the forest. the lodge offers a variety of activities such as walks, ziplines, and a cable car. Our bed was comfortable, and the food was delicious. We even had the chance to see a helmeted basilisk and a tapir! the staff was incredible, and Leo, in particular, provided exceptional customer service. Despite arriving late due to a delay at the airport, Leo made sure we had dinner and arranged for us to go on a night tour. the breakfast was also enjoyable, and we loved watching the hummingbirds.

We had an incredible time at Tapirus Lodge And Reserve! It was like being in a little adventure and recreation park inside the Carillo National Park. The lodges were cozy and spacious, and falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle was magical. The staff were helpful and spoke English well. The highlight was definitely the amazing activities they offered, like the zipline and the cable car that took us through the jungle canopy. We also loved the restaurant area, where we could spot hummingbirds, toucans, coatis. we highly recommend this lodge for an unforgettable experience in the heart of the rainforest.
