A lovely, peaceful getaway! I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The on-site restaurant served tasty food, and breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend trying their pina coladas as well! The pool area was clean and cool, and there were plenty of comfortable seating options. The location was perfect, away from the busyness of Tamarindo but still close enough to visit if desired. Grateful Hotel provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us - away from the busy Tamarindo but still easily accessible. I had a fantastic time at this adorable and super fun inn located near Tamarindo. The owners, Phil and Denise, made sure every aspect of my stay was perfect, including incredible live music almost every night. The cozy and Grateful Dead inspired atmosphere added a unique touch to my experience. The pool area was lovely, and the cocktails by the pool were delicious. The comfortable bed and plentiful breakfast were also highlights. I highly recommend this inn for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Although the communication with the staff wasn't always positive, it didn't overshadow the overall experience. Additionally, the remote location might not be suitable for those looking for a wide variety of food options.
