We enjoyed the beautiful grounds and the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The lush gardens and variety of trees and plants added to the charm of our stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The location was convenient as it was close to the airport, making it easy for us to catch our early flight. the food served at the hotel was delicious and satisfying, providing us with a tasty dining experience.

The lack of air conditioning in the rooms made it uncomfortable at times, especially when the weather was hotter. The hot water supply in the morning was also a bit limited, which was slightly inconvenient.

The terraced restaurant and hangout area are pleasant, and the gardens have a great selection of tropical trees and plants. The gushing river just outside the property adds to the peaceful ambiance. The caring owner family is always available, and they serve a good evening meal. The grounds are well-cared for with a view of the garden and pool from the balcony. The staff, especially Cesar and Rachel, are friendly and helpful.

The surrounding area may be industrial/commercial, but it doesn't affect the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. it's a great value for money and highly recommended for a pleasant stay.

trapp family country inn was a hidden oasis, just 5 mins from the airport. beautiful grounds, nice pool, and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Rachel at reception was wonderful and the traditional breakfast was delicious. felt safe as a solo traveler. highly recommend for a costa rican experience.
