The location of this hotel couldn't be better! It's just a short walk from the entrance to the stunning Monteverde Cloud Forest. The rooms are large and clean, with beautiful furnishings and a lovely view of the front garden. The staff are attentive and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast, included in the rate, is quite good, offering a variety of options.

The only minor downside was the lack of heating in the rooms, which made it a bit chilly, especially during the colder months.

our stay at trapp family lodge was beyond expectations. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, like providing extra fruit for breakfast and bowls for our own cereal. the mountain-view room with a balcony was a highlight, as was the beautiful garden grounds. the restaurant offered excellent vegan options and the proximity to the park was a plus.

Our Thanksgiving trip was amazing! the meals were fantastic, fresh and abundant. We enjoyed the breakfast, lunch, and dinner options that were offered. Bonus points for the tasty complimentary snacks at the bar. the location couldn't be better, nestled in the middle of nature, surrounded by stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Best of all, we had access to nearby walking trails and could observe the surrounding wildlife.

The rooms are quite basic and could use a bit of a facelift, but they were comfortable and had everything we needed. While it was nice to be eco-friendly, it would have been a better experience if there were more amenities within the rooms, like a kettle or coffee maker.
