The view from the room was breathtaking, with stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains and lush greenery. We were able to witness the beauty of nature unfold right from our window. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect for our romantic escape, secluded and peaceful, allowing us to immerse ourselves in nature and enjoy some much-needed tranquility. One of the best aspects was the hike to the nearby waterfall, a challenging journey but definitely worth it for the breathtaking views and the sense of adventure.

There were a few aspects that left us disappointed during our stay. The dampness in the room was quite noticeable, making it difficult for us to feel completely comfortable.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, assisting us with organizing trips and making our experience hassle-free. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and we were impressed with the sustainability efforts and fresh farm-to-market meals. The location, deep in the mountains and surrounded by the beauty of the cloud forest, provided a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located close to major attractions, allowing us to easily explore the area.

I recently stayed at a lodge in a remote location with stunning views of Volcan Arenal and Lake Arenal. The property is surrounded by a luscious rainforest and farm. The rooms were simple, yet clean, and the shower had great heat and water pressure. There are hiking trails on the property that lead to beautiful waterfalls, but be prepared for steep and muddy terrain. The main lodge has a dining room where a delicious, hearty breakfast is served, accompanied by coffee from the owner's farm. The staff, including the owner, his son, and some young German work-exchange travelers. If you're looking to disconnect and enjoy nature, this is the perfect place to unwind.

I found the perfect budget-friendly accommodation nestled in the midst of nature. Surrounded by the lush Monteverde rainforest, this lodge offers a breathtaking view of the Arenal volcano. The location is ideal, close to the beautiful wildlife and with easy access to the waterfall trail. The rooms were comfortable, and the showers had great pressure. The friendly staff made me feel at home, and the breakfast, especially the homemade banana pancakes, was delicious.

I wished there was some form of heating in the rooms as the cloud forest could get chilly.

We had a fantastic stay at Vistaverde Lodge! The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of Lake Arenal and Mt. Arenal. The hiking trails were also impressive and provided a great opportunity to explore the area. The rustic experience offered by the lodge was exactly what we were looking for, and the affordability was a pleasant surprise. The staff, especially Alanna and Calina, were incredibly helpful and accommodating, providing delicious food and valuable advice for our trip.

We had an amazing time at a rustic lodge with breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake. The owner, Eulogio, and his family were fantastic hosts, providing helpful advice and delicious home-cooked breakfasts. The lodge was secluded and peaceful, with no bus groups to disrupt our stay. The rooms were spacious and neat, offering perfect views. We also appreciated the accommodating staff who prepared fruit plates for our early departure. The dinner was the best we had during our trip, and the location was ideal during good weather.

I had an incredible stay at a coffee making business in Monteverde. The hospitality was amazing, and they took care of everything I needed. The food, especially breakfast and dinner, was really good. I highly recommend taking the coffee tour. The rooms were very spacious, and I loved the fact that there was no signal or WiFi in the room. The location was also incredible with a view of the Arenal Volcano.

We stayed at Vistaverde Lodge for a few days and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, helping us with tours and suggestions for warmer clothes. The location was in the middle of nowhere, providing an incredible view of the mountains. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the food at the Lodge was outstanding. a wonderful experience!
