I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. the suite we were upgraded to had a stunning view of the Adriatic Sea from its 30-foot long terrace. the room was spacious and well furnished, despite the hotel being a bit older. the staff were very helpful and even directed me to their sister hotel for a manicure and pedicure. the technician, Andrea, did an excellent job and provided great conversation. the hotel staff also gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. Opatija itself is a beautiful and sophisticated destination, with breathtaking views of the bay and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Adriatic. the city offers a variety of shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed our time at Lido beach, which, though a bit more expensive, was absolutely amazing.

During our recent stay at Astoria Designhotel, we were delighted to discover its fantastic location, just a short walk from the seafront and the town center. Our room had a lovely little balcony with breathtaking sea views, making our experience even more enjoyable. The hotel's attention to detail was impressive, with small touches throughout that added to the overall ambiance. The cleanliness and presentation of the rooms were impeccable.

Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the poor Wi-Fi signal in the room and limited sockets near the bed, the overall experience at Astoria Designhotel was positive. The small lobby and bar were perfectly adequate, and the hotel's patio offered a pleasant spot to enjoy the weather when it was nice.
