Efficient ferry service. Flexible breakfast with cooked-to-order options. Good dinners with choice of mains. very good.

The hotel had an amazing island setting, with crystal clear waters and plenty of shady areas from the pine trees. the free hotel boat service every hour was very convenient. the buffet style breakfast was great and the pool looked lovely.

The hotel could use a refurb as it was a bit dated. the towel hire service was overly complicated.

I had a fantastic stay on a beautiful island, surrounded by peaceful park-like paths. The hotel provided a shuttle service to the island, which made it feel like a hidden paradise far away from the bustling port. The room was well-equipped and had a balcony with stunning views of Rovinj. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast had a great selection. The hotel also had a lovely swimming pool and well-kept grounds.

There were some noise issues with the ferry and lack of soundproofing in the rooms that affected the overall experience.

The setting of this hotel on a beautiful island near Rovinj is simply breathtaking. Surrounded by a wonderful botanical garden, it feels like a hidden oasis. The location itself is as much of an attraction as the old town of Rovinj, with spectacular views that are truly mesmerizing.

We were pleasantly surprised by the stunning views and beautiful beach area at Maistra. Despite a couple of drawbacks mentioned in other reviews, our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. The hotel grounds were well-maintained and the pool was amazing. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. We had a great time exploring the island and its charming coves. I would recommend this hotel for a peaceful getaway.

Everything was fantastic.

The hotel offers outstanding breakfast choices with quality food. The retro-style and unique design of the hotel creates a beautiful setting. The peaceful and safe island, with no cars or motorcycles allowed, provides a relaxing atmosphere. The surrounding beaches and clean sea offer a great place for swimming. The stunning views from everywhere in the hotel are a highlight. The staff are professional, friendly, and always willing to help. The regular boat to Rovinj, which takes less than 10 minutes, provides convenient transportation. The air conditioning in the room is efficient and quiet, ensuring a comfortable stay. it is an amazing place for families with children.

We stayed on a stunning island steeped in natural beauty. the gardens and beaches were beautiful, and the ferry shuttle to the mainland was reliable. We appreciated the option of getting omelets cooked to order for breakfast and the complimentary parking shuttle was convenient.

The overall quality of the evening meals left a lot to be desired, and the long wait to be served wasn't worth it. although we were eventually moved to a room with a partial sea view, it wasn't as requested.

We had an incredible honeymoon experience at Hotel Katarina. the location was breathtaking and the staff were friendly and helpful. the hotel was spotless and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool as well as exploring the beautiful beaches on the island. the food was delicious, with a great selection for breakfast and reasonably-priced lunch options. the boat service to Rovinj was convenient and enjoyable. our stay was fantastic with no negatives. We hope to return in the future.
