Valamar staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. Hotel is in a fabulous waterfront location, close to excursion boats, bus station, and the old town. Buffet breakfast is plentiful and the sea view room with balcony is relaxing. Staff assist with private boat taxi hire. Hotel offers 5-star experience, smooth processes, and quality food. Resort area on nearby island has plenty of sun loungers and beautiful beaches. Apartment is spacious with amazing amenities. Access to ferry for private hotel beaches. A stay here in Porec is highly recommended.

Enjoyed the jazz concerts and dance bars, but the Street Art festival was a real snooze fest. Indulged in pampering spa treatments after struggling through demanding sports activities. The four-course dinner with Istrian wines was a tasty treat.

Sleep-deprived from late-night noise, but who needs sleep on a luxury holiday anyway? Zzz.

As youngsters, we absolutely loved the access to the Valamar resort facilities on the nearby island. The pools and private beaches were stunning and provided a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun. The ferry to the island was only a 5-minute ride, making it very convenient. The 24/7 front desk staff were also incredibly helpful and provided us with valuable information throughout our stay.

We felt very well during our stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel provides free transportation, including a short ferry ride, to a beautiful beach resort with free sunbeds and towels. The island connected to the resort is a great place to relax and enjoy the sun. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful.

The complementary breakfast and Wi-Fi were a nice touch. the hotel was located in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore on foot. the private beach was a fantastic perk, perfect for relaxing and sunbathing.

The room was slightly dated and could use some updating. the bed was uncomfortable and squeaky, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Some areas of the hotel, particularly the rooms, could benefit from a spruce up as they appeared tired and in need of renovation.

The location was perfect, with a pleasant walk through the Pine Forest to reach the town. It was the ideal place for a relaxing and chilled-out holiday. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, right across the street from the departure area where you can catch a free transport to the small island. The island has a family beach as well as a more quiet beach for only adults. the hotel is conveniently located next to a lively square where there is evening animation, and it is also close to the level harbor and the charming old town.

One small downside is that the cleaning staff can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which can be a bit bothersome if you prefer to sleep in.

The receptionists were lovely and the bell boy helped with our luggage. We were pleasantly surprised to get a room with a sea view balcony, even though we couldn't book one. The room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The beach on the island was beautiful and always had clean towels available. The breakfast and dinner options were delicious, even for someone like me who doesn't eat fish. the perfect place to stay and relax.

One negative aspect was that the bathroom in some rooms had a strange shape, with a ventilation shaft next to the bathtub. This could pose a challenge for larger or less agile guests when entering or exiting the tub.
