I recently stayed at this hostel for a weekend getaway and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The historical building that houses the hostel is stunning, and the design throughout is top-notch. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on, and they were also separate from each other, providing extra privacy. The entire building was immaculately maintained and had a cozy and bright atmosphere. The shared dorm room was spacious, with plenty of room for each guest, and the lockers were huge. The staff was incredibly friendly and the on-site cafe served amazing food. a real gem of a place to stay.

The secret garden with an outside bar terrace is simply magical, and the vintage furniture provides a calm space to gather my posh thoughts. The open kitchen with its lovely aromas brings back childhood memories.

Oh, how delightful it was to flash the whole bathroom while showering. Such a thoughtful design choice.

I recently stayed at a hostel in Olomouc for a few days and I had an amazing experience. The whole building was well maintained and had a bright, clean, and cozy atmosphere. The 4-person dorm room was spacious and provided more privacy than any other hostel I've stayed at before. The lockers for the lower beds were huge and provided ample storage space. The hostel also provided towels, sheets, and showering soap, which was a nice touch. Each bed had its own bedside table with a light and convenient power outlet. The restrooms were clean and the showers had hooks, shelves, and loops to keep your change of clothes. Additionally, the location was great and the breakfast offered at the attached cafe was definitely worth the extra payment.

This hostel is conveniently located in the centre of a great town, within walking distance of the train station. The rooms are spacious and clean, with individual beds and big lockers. The separate bathroom is also clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious. Plus, the hostel has a beautiful terrace and a cozy common area.

The wifi doesn't work in the rooms, but it's not a big issue as you can easily access it outside.

The 10 person dorm room was spacious, modern, and clean. One thing I really appreciated was that they had a storage room where I could safely keep my bicycle. The WiFi worked well throughout the hostel and the staff was extremely helpful and spoke English fluently. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of options including bread, eggs, yogurt, fruit salad, pastries, coffee. this hostel provided a world-class experience at an affordable price.

New Year's Eve at this hotel was awesome! They had a great breakfast with a lot of different options to choose from, and the bathrooms were really clean and well-equipped. the location was great - you could walk to some great spots and see the city. One of the best things about our stay was definitely the friendly staff who were always happy to help.

Our stay wasn't all perfect. the noise level was pretty high at night, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Our stay at Long Story Short Hostel & Cafe was absolutely wonderful. The hostel has a charming and cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, providing us with enough private space. The hostel's location was also perfect, allowing us easy access to explore the surrounding area. The staff at reception, particularly Gabriela and Veronika, were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Despite some minor inconveniences like the lack of blinds on the windows and delayed hot water in the showers, our overall experience was fantastic. We were impressed by the picturesque architecture, the abundance of sitting areas, and the attention to detail throughout the hostel. We definitely look forward to returning in the future.
