Can see the "castle" from the front yard. Excellent dinner menu with a 5-course tasting offering. Character-filled building with nice paintings and an open fire. Great staff and plenty of free parking.

We spent Christmas at a hotel with a stunning view of the castle and its surroundings. the breakfast in the impressive dining area had a delightful variety of food. the staff was nice and helpful, and the toiletries provided were of good quality. the location was great, with easy access to nearby lakes and cycling routes. It was also a short drive from a world-class art museum.

The rooms were small and not well-ventilated, making them quite noisy at times. There was a lack of basic amenities, like a phone and a mirror, and some items, such as the TV remote and the shower handle, were missing or broken.
